Dec. 3, 2007 - My mall trip...
Hey guys! Well I wanted to write yesterday but I got home really late. We went to the mall in Indianapolis. It was so much fun. My parents aren’t mall type of people and for that matter most of my clothes are from second-hand stores and what’s funny about it is there all name-brand clothing. The reason I don’t do much mall shopping is because I hate supporting slavery, most of the clothes there are made over seas by children and only get paid a couple of cents daily and then they bring them back to America and jack up the price. But yesterday I completely over wrote that rule. I’ve been saving up for this and man did I spend it. I’ve NEVER, NEVER shopped how I did yesterday. My family been joking how like “ oh, we didn’t spend much but a little bit at the mall, but now Shaiya she spent”. So I guess I’ll tell you guys about some of the new stuff I got. I went to a total of 4 stores personally and they were American Eagle, Bath & Body Works, Claries, Aeropostale. I also went to Hollister but didn’t get anything cause it was to dark and didn‘t really see anything I wanted to buy. But I am thinking of going back sometime we they have sales going on because they have a lot of tank tops that would be great for layering under clothes. But I’ll still have to think about that. Ok, well at American Eagle I got new purse that was on clearance. It’s a green and blue hobo style w/ green eagle’s embroidered all over and my parents got me a early gift that were going to get me this year but mom wanted me to be able to try them on and also pick them out to, so I got a pair of blue/green flannel pj’s pants. That are sooooooooooo comfy, I’ve been wearing them all day (it’s a good thing I’m home schooledJ ). Well after AE we went to Aeropostale and they had some really great sales going on. I spent the most there so here is list of everything:
A striped gray and white hooded shirt that was 70% of the clearance price. Defiantly dirt cheap.
A pink and white shirt that was also 70% off the clearance price.
A pack of 3 pairs of socks that were 50% off. One pair is blue and green polka dots, the second pair is blue and gray stripes, and the last pair is all blue.
A red wine sweater that was on sale but not that much.
At Claries I got two headbands one gray and one brown( I bought before I went clothes shopping and they completely match my shirts), a cherry cell phone charm, and some dark red wine nail polish. I also got some earrings but decided against it. And the last store I went to was Bath & Body Works. I wanted to see if they had pumpkin spice lotion at first I asked a clerk and she said she didn’t think they did buy to check on the back wall because they might have some on clearance. To my happiness they did and I got it half off too. Also so I the new seasonal line called “ Vanilla Bean Noel”. I LOVE IT and everyone should go get it. One of my fav. there is warm vanilla sugar but this definitely bets it. And I’ll probably go get some more w/ the coupons they gave me. Well I gotta go, talk to everyone latter.

Sounds like a successful shopping trip! I guess I've never looked at clothing that way, that's awful! I knew all about them working for dirt cheap, I guess I just didn't think about it in context with our clothes.
I'll have to try the vanilla bean noel lotion from bath and body, vanilla's one of my fav scents.
