Back with Updates

I'm Back!

I have been away for sometime things of course have been ever so busy non-stop with the kids, activities and what God and life brings.

I haven't had any time to really read blogs either, I finally had a open window that I could update and read some blogs so I will do my best.

When I last wrote Our Church was in a Revival and the kids were taking CAT tests that same week June 16-20th.

Revival was very good and many of our church members received many blessings, I received my blessing before revival ever started or that was the start.

The last day of Revival or June 21st was our Church Picnic it was a wonderfully ending to our Revival. Aaron and Sarah had invited a friend (that spent time with us last summer coming over for Family Movie Night) and I invited my mom and she was touched by the Lord and she seem to leave with a peace, more relaxed and happier.

The  Little Lambs at Church have sang, Our  daughter has done some singing in church and the boys have done some singing in church in the last two weeks.

Although the week right after Revival was a "storm" we didn't get things done that we had planned, the week was in chaos, hubby and I argued, the kids and I  never made it to our library visit nor any of our camp be-yon-key and to tell you truth I can honestly say what we managed to accomplish isn't worth sharing, isn't that terrible? Well, we did get to Swim a couple times before the cooler weather came again and the rain. :)

Oh Wait! We Made Fruit Pizza!

Although come Friday June 26th the storm began to calm and a couple from church that I believe I have mentioned we will call them Bro. J and Sis. V have become a real treasure to our Family along with Sarah's Family.

They had asked about a month ago if they could take our children out to their country home to camp. Hubby and I agreed for our 3 younger boys but, our daughter we felt just to young yet.

So that early evening they picked up our boys and hubby, Phoebe, Aaron, Sarah, Sarah's Mom and I we all went to a cheap mexican restaruant for dinner, it was so good.

It was such a pleasant evening..Our daughter actually was on her first date with Miss Judy (Sarah's Mom).

After that we went to the dollar store and then Hubby, Myself, Phoebe, Aaron and Sarah went to the drive inn. It was cheap with just the few of us.

We went and seen Tranformers 2 and Star Trek

(It was a quiet wonderful evening)

The next day Saturday June 27th we went to Bro J and Sis. V house all of us Sarah's family and Us to (pick up the boys) but, also have a picnic out there.

It was a lovely time we had great food and we took rides on the four wheeler, spent time around the fire,  it was alot of fun, it was so wonderful.

(except for the bugs of course) LOL

This past Sunday at church though I still felt a heaviness over the church and it could be due to the revival, blessings, summer camp coming up or just that period after revival perhaps.

I wasn't the only one who felt it that is for sure, our 2 older boys came up to me and said mom why is it so hard to pray, I so agreed with them but, I didn't know either. (although we did get through Sunday keeping a song in our hearts and praises on our lips) Praise God!!!  We weathered through that valley.

Now this week the Kids are in Vacation Bible School up the street we have two churches up the street one we visit for Awana's and their VBS and one for their VBS we normally always visit 2 VBS a summer at these particular churches.

Our church isn't having a VBS but, Summer camp (not on church grounds a real camp) and just Steven our 13yo is going for we believe and feel he will get the most out of it at this time due to his age and also due to cost-a member in the church is sponsoring (paying his bill) for him to go, So that tells us he is meant to go, that a member would feel led to give on his behalf, for we do not have the funds for our him or all of our children to go.

(The camp I believe is at the end of July).

Although at this VBS that the kids are in right now while they are in VBS Steven and I are in the Bible Study they are having which was a real blessing to him and I tonight, a much needed lift.

The VBS goes until Thursday evening, then on Friday friends from church are coming over to have a picnic kind of thing here to celebrate my hubby's Birthday.

Then Saturday July 4th is Our Home Depot Workshop.

From there I have no idea??

Maybe accomplish some reading for our summer reading program?

Our Camp Be-Yon-Key?

Mom's Writing School/Class?

Some School Planning for this Coming Year?

I am Sure We Will Find the Direction...and will share really soon.

*~*Be Blessed*~*
