Are Homeschooled Children more likely to be Christian?

Here's a question I've been pondering for a while:
Are homeschooled kids more likely to stay in the faith than other kids? Does anyone have the stats for Christian schools, private schools, public schools, and homeschools?
Well, I ran across an interesting tidbit today on Lifesite news, quoting a study that said:
94% of those surveyed said, “My religious beliefs are basically the same as those of my parents.”
That's awesome. And I pray, and trust, that it's true in my girls' cases, too.

I heard Ken Ham claim a statistic once that went something like, 80% of publicly schooled children turn away from their faith in college. 80% of home educated children remain true to their faith. I think it was a Barna pole he was quoting. One observation I am making between what you said and what he said. Perhaps those keeping their kids at home are living their faith in front of their children more clearly. I know my own kids see far more of my struggles and victories then they would if they were in PS all day long.

This is the way I see it. Yes I want my children to belive that there is only one God and he is the only way to heaven. But that does not mean I want my kids to be Baptist just because that is what I am. I want my kids to be able to form their own opinions about things, and the way you do that is by beinging taught by many people. I had the freedom to form my own thoughts. Our opinions are made by hearing those of others and putting them all togeather to form what you think. My kids are going to get my opinions anyway because they live with us and are taught by us everyday. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6.
