I recently taught myself some basic HTML (Hyper-Text Markup Language). I got it off of a virtual pet site that had a guide to HTML. I learned how to change the font color, make the text bold, make it italicized, and underline it. I also learned how to change the size. I learned how to put a picture onto a webpage, too, but it won't seem to work on this website.
My dad has been bugging me for weeks to write a song for him to play on the guitar. I'm not really much of a songwriter, but I wrote a song earlier this morning. It just popped into my head and wouldn't go away until I wrote it. My dad likes it so much that he can't wait to find the "tune" he can play on the guitar to go with it. Then, he wants the church to start playing it as morning worship when it applies to the sermon. Here it is:
Thank You
I thank You for the oceans,
the rivers and the seas,
I thank You for the great blue sky,
far as the eyes can see.
But there is one thing,
before this song is done,
I thank You for the greatest gift,
Your one and only son.
I thank You for my family,
the house that I live in,
I cannot thank You enough
for this life that I've been given.
But there is one thing,
before this song is done,
I thank You for the greatest gift,
Your one and only son.
I thank You for the mountains,
the valleys and the prairies,
I thank You for this whole big earth
You made and gave to me.
That's the song. The interesting thing is, the sermon today was about thankfullness. I wrote this song during morning worship, before the sermon. God sure works in interesting ways, doesn't He? |
