Oh my goodness, what a beautiful study!! We are in our 1st year of homeschooling after 7 & 5 respective years in public school and are still trying to figure everything out. With me no longer working & my husband providing our only income via a self-run small business, our finances are on the downright painful side.. We strongly believe God has called us to this homeschool life, however, so we are answering & are all learning along the way. Oct. 28, 2009 - We're done with unit 1!

Just wanted to say thanks again for this great study. My daughter and I really enjoyed it! Just finished up the lapbook on Tuesday and are taking the rest of the week off before starting unit 2 on Monday. I have been spacing it out over three weeks instead of two, this just works better for us. I posted some pictures of what we did on our blog http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/bunchofyoders/739917/ if you're interested or have time. There's a bunch of pictures of what we've been doing since Labor Day, and down toward the bottom is a section on this unit study. I think I forgot to link to you, I'll have to check that! This is our first experience with lapbooking, but we loved it. Can't wait for my own ideas to surface and to implement them in our homeschool. Thanks again!!
