Homeschool Freebie of the day visitors

Hi folks, thank you for all the wonderful thoughts and well wishes. They mean a lot to me and my family.

I know some are trying to download the Book of Virtues Project and are having some problems. Please keep in mind that there ARE over 22,000 people trying to download it--and that is just those that are coming in from the Freebie list. So please be patient, keep trying or use the other link on the email from Homeschool freebie of the day that was sent out.

Don't worry there is no deadline on how long this is free. IT IS FREE no matter what day you come by to download it. So if you need to wait a week until the hype dies down that's fine!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful project. It looks absolutely amazing- you must have really put your heart into this work. I just had to let you know- just as I opened your blog, "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood started playing on your website. I am an Air Force wife and it brought tears to my eyes. (I listened to the whole thing and had to compose myself before I downloaded your study!) :) Thanks, from one military, homeschooling wife to another! God bless you and your family!

As part of their Graduation from boot camp, my DH troop had to sing that to their families that had come in for the ceremony. So it really has a special memory for us. Another song on there that does it to me is "come home soon" from Shedaisy. I don't know how many times I have waited for him to come home from deployments. LOL too many to count in our 16 years. :)

I am loving the study units you have created. I had never looked at the book before and find it a wonderful wealth of wisdom for my children.

P.s> what is the story behind the College of Homemaking?

About Me

It's just a little of this and a little of that. Basically our way of sharing what we're doing. We have been doing MFW (My Father's World)! We'll be bringing in a little of Charlotte Mason and Ruth Beechick. And a WHOLE LOT OF US! Shiver is our School Mascot. He is an Emperor Penguin that keeps school from getting too serious. He is also where we get the name of our Home School=Shiver Academy. T8ermomma is me! I'm a mom of 4 kids ages from 3-12! I'm also a Navy Wife of many years who has traveled the world following DH as he serves our Beloved Country-the Great US Of A! We are an LDS Family doing our best to stay true to our beliefs, keep our family strong, and perhaps even learn more than just ABC's and 123's.
