Well I am just floored! I just looked and I am super excited to say that we have had 245 downloads!! With all the wonderful words that has been sent my way and a wonderful award (which I will be posting tonight!) I am just amazed that this has become so popular.
I would like to thank everyone for not only the kind words and emails that I have received but for passing on the word. And just so everyone understands:
You MAY pass on the information to download the BOV project. Please don't try to print it out for anyone but yourself though, it's just too large. So I suggest if they don't have internet access you either put it on a jump drive or a CD that is easily mailed or handed over. There is NO LIMIT to who can use this. I only ask that NO ONE charges for this. It took a lot of time, effort and care to create this and I didn't do it with intentions to sell it.
Now I have a bit of excitement. . . First we will be having a giveaway! I will be posting a review for SpellQuizzer (www.SpellQuizzer.com) And the creator of the program has gifted me with an extra License to offer to you my wonderful readers!! So please keep watch tomorrow for the review (or tonight if I get to it!) And be sure to sign up for the giveaway! (Instructions will be listed with the review!)

Jun. 8, 2009 Complete Download is ready for download
Ok the final "MEGA" download is now ready for download. I have taken all our various "sections" and placed it all in one single download.
It is 18.93 MB. So this is a LARGE file. but it's not SUPER HUGE. LOL, ok it is. But it is small enough to email so I figure that it's not too big. There are 992 pages in this download. So what did you all expect???
The lesson plan is the beginning. I have also included the primary lesson plan created by Twinkle Mom. Then each unit goes in the following order:
Project pack (it has the unit cover sheets with it and you need to know what the projects are for each week ahead of time!)
Worksheets: These are the "meat" of the unit so they come next.
Vocabulary: LOL, to continue my metaphore: They are the potatoes and gravy! :) They are a good side item for those wishing to increase vocabulary
Copywork: Another side dish!! All of which is important for a well balanced education.
Lapbook, Now I know everyone is not into this, so the lapbook section is last. Please note that the wrap up is book marked so that you don't have to scroll through the entire section.
Infact, All sections are book marked. With 900+ pages I figured I'd get more than a little grumbling without them!!
Another addition has been added to the full download (and will make a debut as a separate download when the others are available) Is a set of Character sheets. The original was created by twinkle mom as well. I have simply added a title (the character trait) and the rest of the page is a graphic organizer to help them "break down" their study.
Anyways, I will be taking down the "sections" eventually, but not right away. So if you would like to still get just this piece or that, you still have that opportunity. I will eventually be putting up the "final" combine of each unit for those that have slower download speeds. If I have not done this, please PLEASE email me using the button above and I will either link to them or email them to you.
A couple of suggestions for using this project! DON"T feel you need to do the entire 992 pages! Talk about overkill!!! They were provided only to give you options for your various learners. You don't even have to do the same pages for each of your children! If you have a child that loves worksheets, hates lapbooks then do the worksheets, but if your other child can't stand them and wants to do the lapbook, let him do the lapbook! This gives you a TON of options. Please, only do what works for you and your family--even if that means you only use 10 sheets!!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear back from some of you. If you would like to leave a comment I'd really appreciate your thoughts on if this is working for you, lol, or if I'm way out in left field!!

Jun. 4, 2009 WHEW!!! Unit 10 is finished and posted!
Well folks, you all exercised a bit of FAITH and I have not let you down! I have finished the final lapbook/wrap up for the Book of Virtues by WIlliam J. Bennett!
Unit 10 Faith has been posted. The wrap up uses the week's project to produce a "final" "book" that holds their testimony. If you did not do this project have your child write down the things that they have FAITH in. Such as that the sun will rise, or that Jesus is the Savior. there is of course no wrong answers as long as they get the concept that Faith is NOT KNOWING, but believing it anyways.
This is the final addition to our study of the Book of Virtues. I am so glad that you all joined me on this journey. It was a lot of work, but I think it has been well worth it.
I will be posting a full download in a couple of days. Or at least "grouped" downloads. It will take me some time to get it all put together in the proper order, book mark it etc. Plus I don't want to remove all the portions just yet as there are many that have downloaded some, but not all just yet.
So this is final call on downloading the portions. Please note that if you need just a section or two--you are free to email me with a request!
Also, I will be having a giveaway to celebrate the end of the BOOK OF VIRTUES! LOL, but it has nothing to do with this study!! I was just given a great opportunity and I would like to share it with you. So watch for a few days for lots of changes, and a bit of excitement!! |

May. 29, 2009 Unit 10 Cover pages
As promised, I have uploaded Unit 10's cover sheet. I can't believe I forgot to do them the other night! I really must have been tired! :) It is in the "Unit 10 Faith Project Pack. If you really don't want to replace the project pack you have already downloaded for some reason, please feel free to email me for a copy of JUST the cover pages in PDF format.
Anyways, I am beginning work on the lapbook for unit 10. I should have it up today or tomorrow and then we will be done!! I think my husband is about ready to jump for joy!! LOL, he seems to think that it has taken a lot of effort and time!! :) Don't worry he hasn't lost his sense of humor and he certainly isn't upset over the time!! But I do think he is ready for me to start another project--and quit talking about the Book of Virtues!
Off to spend some "mommy time" with the 9 year old!!

I'm sorry, I just realized that the cover sheets for unit 10 is not included. I haven't done them yet!! I'll add them tomorrow or Friday. Sorry!! :)
