Weekend! (water -baptism- filled weekend)
Yup, I'm writing about my weekend again. It was hilarious!!! LOL!
Saturday- Went to band practice and had a lot of fun! Though the first song was sooo high and then so low, it's a guy song. *sigh*
Then went to celebrate my cell leader's bday. We were rushing around, tryna get everything ready when suddenly Joan screamed, "OMIGOSH! ISAAC'S COMING UP NOW!!!!" We all ducked and stayed out of sight from the glass panalled doors. One of the guys weren't hidden properly and as Isaac was walking past he burst out laughing. Isaac had looked directly at him! haha! We all jumped up and shouted, "Happy Birthday Isaac!" anyway. Something happened to Joan's computer, and the sound wouldn't go on. There was this really nice video that they were tryna play. In the end it worked and everything was cool. Dad says he wrote the party was great on his facebook. So, yay!!!!!
After MegaLife a whole bunch of us went to go and change into our 'I Have Decided' t-shirts. During the testimonies it was really nice! Sooo sweet! Me, Natalie & Michelle somehow got matched up to go into the water together. The water was freezing, tell you. FREEZING!!!! While walked to the bathroom my teeth were chattering like INSANE! Ever try walking while you're shivering so much you feel your bones rattling? No? You'll find it's almost impossible.
Sunday- Small group was roudy. They simply cannot sit still. Well, they're kids. And kids will be kids
Went to lunch with family. The green curry is AWSOME at Aunty May's new stall!!! LOVE IT!!!! Went to hang with the band at Fish & Co Express© after.
While walked back home it started POURING. It hasn't rained like that in forever! Even though me, Nat her lil sis-Vicki & Nikki were carrying umbrellas we still got soaked. By the time we were at Nat's house my sneakers were soaked. Everytime I took a step, water oozed out *grimaces*. I hung out at Nat's house for a while, just because I would get soaked if I kept walking. I went with her family to dinner at the Airport food court. Me & Nat joked about trading lil sister for a week. Because she thinks my lil sis is cute, while I think her really annoying sometimes. And I find her sister cute, while she finds her really annoying. LOL!!!

Funny things
Last week was funny. It was the March holiday, one week, but there are 7 days! A lot can happen!!!
There was Cell FunDay. Which didn't really start out so fun. I showed up at church, expecting a noisy, and insane cell. I was met by Daph and Ken. We sat there for about 20 minutes before Joan & Joanne came down to tell us everyone was upstairs -.-'. Then things started to be fun. The games were FUN! Our group was called: The Naughty Arabian Peanuts from Mexico©. Everyone just called us 'The Peanuts' for short. The WAR GAMES were the scary ones. During YOU Camp last year there were bruises from the water balloons! Luckily, it was only 1/10th of the scariness.
Friday was insane too. I went to Sentosa with some of the band. You don't even wanna know what happened. You seriously don't. Let's just say....the guys are SICK SICK SICK people. Ok? Ok. I got splashed, dunked and hit with a frizbee. We played soccer, frizbee and had water fights. It was super FUN!!!!!!!!!

Book Reviews (thumbs-up 4 G.C.L!!!)
Gail Carson Levine, she's an amazing author. I love her books. They always have the girls being the heroines, magical creatures and romance. Ella Enchanted is one of her most well-known books, but she's also written 2 other books: Fairest and Ever.
Ella Enchanted: Gail Carson Levine uses some elements from Cinderella. She has Ella losing her shoe, her having an evil stepmother and two ugly stepsisters and she was forced to be a scullary maid. The most interesting thing was that you don't even notice it. She added these element SO subtly you don't even notice it till the end! So cool right?
Fairest: G.C.L uses the apple from Snow White. It was a poisoned apple that poisened Aza. She was ugly, but throughout the story she realizes becoming beautiful isn't everything.
Ever: I don't find any element or bits from other fairytales. I honestly found it a bit confusing. It was hard to understand till I read it the second time. It was interesting though, but stil it wasn't my favorite book.
Maybe I'm a medieval kinda girl. Her Ella Enchanted & Fairest are set in the medievel times. Magical creatures, curses, fairytales and romance with princes are my thing. It's amazing, for a while I hated fairytales. They were all about the girl needing help from a guy, making them seem helpless and fragile. But when I read G.C.L books they give me a whole new out-look on fairytales.
Gail Carson Levine: 2 BIG thumbs up!!!![]()

Weekend (Planetshakers!!!!)
After lunch with the band, a whole bunch of us went to a Planetshakers workshop. It was super funny! We'd been sitting there for a while, when Darren had to go and pick up Kenneth. He was like, "OMIGOSH! I have to walk past Planetshakers!!!" When he'd walked past them we all laughed like insane. Cause we'd just been saying we hoped he didn't faint or anything. It's hilarious!!!
I can't believe it! It was to funny to even express!!

Weekend (bowling)
This weekend was soo funny! I haven't laughed so hard before during the weekend. Here's what happened: Saturday-Natalie got into my cell!!! YAY!!! C2 rocks!!! I laughed till I cried, and my stomach hurt. I must have looked ridiculous: hunching over from my stomach hurting, tears streaming down my face, but I was laughing hysterically. *chuckles*
Sunday- I was asked to rara totally last minute. Like that morning, so I had to get there half an hour after I woke up, luckily it's a really quick walk from my house to the church. Nicole and Natalie also helped, but Natalie had to leave after 1st service because she was sick. So after 2nd service we all headed out to the atrium. I did the usual: talking/listening to music/reading...Lunch was the funny part.
We had some other guys come along who weren't from the worship team, but we all knew them. Laughed till I cried again, after Hannah & Tammy left me and Nicole were the only girls left. I laughed till I cried again. Then the guys wanted to go bowling, so we -me & Nicole- just followed along. We didn't play but we watched. After some 'warm ups' as the guys call them -they were just some really bad throws- they all got pretty competative. Me & Nicole all awed at some of the guys talent and cheered-up the guys who didn't do so well. It was the first time I'd gone bowling with people who weren't my family. I can't wait till next weekend, it's just insane!!!!

CNY visiting
Last Sunday a whole bunch of the band went to go CNY (Chinese New Year) visiting. Soooo fun! Here's what happened:
After service we all celebrated Joy-bug & Nicole's bday. I smashed cake in Nicole's face. I finally got the chance to do that! YAY!!! I've been waiting for that chance for like ever. Went to lunch after we'd gotten all the cake off the floor, and ourselves. Here's the sequence of who's house we went to:
My house:Sang until my voice started cracking on the high notes. But very fun though.
Kenneth's house:Played with his dog and jumped on a trampoline. His apartment is super big.
Natalie's house:Games, games &, wait, did i say games? We played games till we were all screaming and laughing.
Chee Yan's house:Ate, talked & hung-out. By that time it was about 8:00pm. I was the only girl after that!
Ben L.'s house:Learned how to play 'Bridge'. But I kept getting Ben L. as my partner, we both got fed up with that. Also, Kenneth and Darren totally dooped me...I'm gonna hit/kick them next time I see them.
Had a lot of fun, as you can tell. But, i couldn't enjoy myself completly. Dunno why. But I haven't laughed so hard in so long, it was great!

Gong xi fa chai!!!!
Next week is CNY (Chinese New Year). And this friday there is CNY service at our church. Everybody will be having service together. Anyway, here are some facts about CNY: 1. Red is a lucky color.
2. 8 is a lucky number. Because it sound like 'fa', which is chinese for luck.
3. You can't sweep during the CNY holiday, you might sweep the good luck away.
4. You visit all your relatives during CNY. And since only my dads' family is here in Singapore, we only visit them.
5. You get 'hong bao'. Translated directly is 'red bread', I think. But, you can just say red packet. It's actually a little packet, and it has money inside.
6. You also give mandarin oranges. It's good luck too, they are orange. So, they're considered prosperity in money or something like that, not to sure...
Anyway, there are also more. But these are all I can remember for now... Gong xi fa chai!!!! Happy Chinese New Year!!!!

1. I will smile at the next camera that's pointed at me.
2. I wanna do really well in my small group, I can impact their life...
3. To finish Dark Era. It's an e-book I've been working on. I need to FINISH this book!!!!!!

Cinderella
On wednesday my family & I went to see Cinderella (the musical). It was soooo good! I saw the Nutcracker (the ballet) during the holidays, but I totally didn't expect that Cinderella would be so nice. And since it was a weekday, there wasn't a full house. We were supposed to be on the 3RD CIRCLE! (3rd floor) And in the end they upgraded to the FIRST CIRCLE! There was an amazing view of the whole stage.
I also didn't know it was done by Rogers & Hammerstien's - I was all, "Who are they?"-. Afterwards my mom told me that their names are as big as Andrew Loyd Webber. Then (me) "Cool!"

New Updates
Today I have My Hope Singapore. Which is an outreach program. Which none of my friends are going to by the way...So, yup. Anyway, I had MegaLife Camp from December 7-11. Here's what happened:
Day 1: I went to the bus stop. And while I was getting on I spotted a familiar face; it was small Ben! Talk about coincidental! We walked to church from DownTown, while heading there we talked about how big our bags were, how we'd never heard of the camp-site & that kinda thing...Once we'd opened the door to Victory Chapel, I saw that this camp was truly the one with the most attendance. I tell ya, there were like 300+ campers! I went to my assigned group and we got to the camp-site.
We had the opening ceremony and had games. On the first day alone we got dirty/wet! That was just the first day, we hadn't seen anything yet!
Day 2: Woke-up, washed-up and got to the cafeteria. Imagine walking into this room, full of hyper/pumped teenagers, all ready for a great day of camp. What do you expect? Noise! And a lot of it, it was almost deafening!
This was the day we got soaked/splashed/bruised up. We had the war games, and all the girls were asked to protect the flag. (Our group was called Maniwala) Even our shoes got soaked! Can you even imagine? Everytime I stepped down I felt water oozing out of my shoes! It was gross...yet, at the end of the day: fun.
Camp also taught me a lot about God. And about myself...
