What a busy day! Jo left for her college class as usual, and then Mom and I proceeded to get ready for the day. I ran out and fed/watered the goats and chickens, and then came inside and Mom and I talked for a while. The morning was the same as usual, me doing dished, Mom doing laundry, and then we both got showers, etc... Then the phone started ringing. Nana Mel stopped by. Finally, when all seemed quiet, Mom and I sat down on the couch and looked at each other. "Now what should we do?" we asked. Wrong question.
Just at that precise moment, the phone rang again. It was Jo, saying she was feeling really wierd, and she was really shaky. She said we shouldn't go get her, she would see if she was feeling better in a couple minutes. We knew we wouldn't let her drive home feeling bad, so we drove over to Nana Mel's (we needed her to go with us, so we could drive both cars home). After a little while, Jo called and said she had cancelled her note-taking, and asked us to pick her up. So, we drove to the college, picked her up, and drove back home!
She's feeling a bit better now... we're not quite sure why she's not feeling good, but it's probably stress from college, etc. There's never a dull moment at the Frey house! :-) I'm feeling quite"Becky-Home-Ec-y-ish" lately. (Is that even a word? :-D) I've been looking through all sorts of good magazines, and looking at all sorts of old-fashioned gadgets that I would like to have/use. Things like a hand-washing machine. I've always wanted one. :-) (Of course, I would like the one with the clothes ringer) There's a gorgeous woodstove/cookstove in Lehman's catalog that I LOOOVE!!!!! :-) There's Mrs. Stewart's Bluing, too. :-D
Well, there's a storm brewing in the sky, which means the computer must be closed down. :-D And a bunch of dished are waiting on the sink. :-) G'bye! |
