2009-May-14 - Encouragement From God
Sometimes life plainly stinks, but I can be confident in knowing that God has me in the palm of His hand, safely guarding us~each and every part!

Today is a tough day for me and I am leaning upon Him. While to many who are experiencing great troubles, my troubles seem so small... I KNOW He is there for me and for all who trust in Him! God's Word, the ETERNAL Word of the Father is never changing and forever faithfully true! WOW! What a blessing to be part of His great big picture~God's picture and one of His children!
When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I...Jesus is the ROCK of AGES!
And rocks are solid, heavy mass that it takes some serious STUFF to break it... God cannot be broken, but what a wonderful picture of who God is~solid and stable! Winds and storms may rage around me, but in HIM I am secure!
Trust and faith are essential to stand the tests of life. I don't know what the day will hold entirely, but it is His day~whether I live or whether I die I am the Lord's as Paul said. It's a good position for me to take on a day that I REALLY wish would just go away, but one I can face with confidence...not in myself, but in my Lord! He is the all in all, the wonderful counselor and Prince of Peace! P E A C E isn't anxiety or fear or dread...PEACE!
Walking in peace is the result of faith and trust~and God is TOTALLY trustable! Whatever comes my way is in His plan and OK.

If you are having a difficult day; if you are like me dreading situations that seem so hard...
Trust and faith...
Now HOW am I gonna do this?
I am going to get into the Word of God, think on what so ever things are lovely, pure of a good report, things of virtue, praise...I will control my mind to focus on God...leaving behind negative emotions and thoughts!
Oh this sounds so pious doesn't it? I am being real with what I think is at they core. . .
I can wallow in my pity, fear and distress or rather I can work hard to change my focus onto the ETERNAL God and look to Him! I am choosing to walk with God~today and everyday. . . and when and IF I get accused of what I've not done, if I get accused of wrong or any other negativity, I will look at it to honestly see if I am at fault and deal to correct the issue. And if I am innocent, I will look to God as my defender as well. He will take care of whatever needs to be taken care of each and every time.
"And this is the confidence we have in Him if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us!" WHAT a promise!
God is ABLE~capable! and Willing to help me each and everyday!
He loves and will help you too!
I am gonna have a good dayTRUSTING Him!
