2009-May-31 - Situation Terrible and Need H E L P~Reason for Contest Explained~
Hello,
I have brought our problem of not selling our home to my blog some months ago in the form of the widget at the bottom left of the page because we have not gotten a viable sales offer on our home after 13 months. This is so perplexing to us, as we moved last May because of the ministry and have continued to pay not only mortgage but all manner of repairs for natural disaster that KY has suffered while we have been gone. While on the market these past months, we were under the "care" of a full service realtor which did bring two offers in of which neither came to a closing. Frustrated and forlorn for many many reasons, I am attempting to find the buyer God intents for our home through unusual means: blogging about the home www.1909homeforsale.blogspot.com
making the widget, and now hosting this contest HERE to increase traffic and interest in our home.
I realize that asking our homeschooling friends to help is a bit unusual, but to who else would we turn who could help us get the word out on a national level? At our wits end, tired and frustrated, NEEDING to sell, and looking to God, I am asking you to help. Maybe I have asked too much for the small return of $25 from Walmart or CBD, I don't know. We think our buyer will be either a family who might need the size home we offer, a retired couple who would enjoy the home, or someone who loves historic homes. We are priced not to make money, but to sell this home as we have already come down over 30K and realize that the market is in poor shape. The blog and its widget offers the details of the home that a proper sell sheet could provide but in a trendy format. Won't you help us? I am asking for one month for everyone to blog, talk it up and place the widget so others might see our home. Now I understand that this may not be some's thing...I understand that. If you would consider helping out a sister in the Lord's family, a minister's family who has moved to continue serving (believe ME~I would've never left that home!) and a fellow homeschooling family then join this effort. Leave me a post of encouragement of your prayers and helping to get the word out so I can repay in a small way, I know, with the Gift Card.
