February 19, 2008 - Very Good Book
Sorry it has taken me FOREVER to write a new post! I have been extremel busy.
Monday school has been going great. I really like the writing the novel way class. I have started writing a story about a girl living in Egypt in the 1500s, she is the pharaohs daughter. I am having a great time writing it!
As you can notice I changed my template. I didn't make this one, I got it from www.betruemeg.com. There are a lot of neat templates there, so if you are looking for a new template, I highly recommend going there. I do have a few questions for all of you html experts out there. Do any of you know how to center a picture on a template. Because whenever I try to put a picture on a template, it always starts on the left side of the page, it never is center.
Tomorrow my family and I are going to Awana's. My parents teach a group in awana's. I am in the Jr. High Group, It is pretty fun!
I just read an awesome book about the suffrgette. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is when the women pleaded with the president to let them vote. It was a very sad book, most of the women were imprisioned because of picketing( picketing is when you stand on sidewalks and hold signs saying different things). The prisions which they were sent to had a horrible enviroment. They had worms in all the food, and many people got very sick. The picketing started in 1917 and the president finally agreed in 1920 to let woman vote. It was a great book. The book is called Dear America: The Diary of Kathleen Bowen. I recommend this book to anyone.

Hey, I did Writing the Novel Way for a little bit--but I didn't finish; it just didn't work very well for me. Glad you like it!
To center an image in HTML, you just put the image code inside these tags: <center>Picture Here</center> Hope that helps!
