The Unique Life Of Me

January 21, 2009 - Barack Obama

Hey Everyone,

How have you guys been? First of all I want to thank you guys for giving me all those wonderful comments in my last post! I also want to thank SPL9 for giving me an award for his favorite blogger! Thank you so much!

This entry was supposed to be posted yesterday, but HSB was doing something to the site so I couldn't post an entry. So technically the inauguration was yesterday, so I am a day late, sorry about that.

Well, I haven't done a political post in forever and I know you all wanted to see a picture post, but since today is the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States I thought it would only be proper to do a quick post dedicated to Barack Obama and then on my next entry I will do a picture post!

Most of you probably know that I am not an Obama supporter and I believe that The United States made a huge mistake, so I am going to remind everyone of  Barack Obama without his teleprompter and I will also throw a few quotes in there from his radical friends.

November 5th ... what a day ... a new day ... finally Dr. King's words
ring true that one day we will live in a nation where people 'will not
be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their
character'." --singer Barbra Streisand

First of all lets remind everyone of Martin Luther King's words that she was referring to:

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the
true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that all men are created equal.' ... I have a dream that my four
children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by
the color of their skin but by the content of their character. ... And
if America is to be a great nation this must become true." --Martin
Luther King Jr.

Barack Obama is not fulfilling these of Martin Luther King JR. I believe that since Barack Obama is black, some people were afraid and still are afraid to stand up against him and prove that he is lying to the American people and that the direction he wants to lead America could amount to nothing more than disaster;  But since he is black that would be racist right? WRONG! Dr. King's words were:  “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."  Barack Obama was not judged by character, but by color. People think that he is black so we can't say anything bad about him, but that isn't Dr. King's dream that is the exact opposite, if he were alive today he would want Barack Obama judged by his character and if people would have judged Obama by his character we wouldn't be in the situation we are in now.

"I haven't seen this sense of unity since 9/11, really, really, and 9/11 was this tragic experience that brought us all together and now we're all brought together in the name of hope. Not since 9/11 have I experienced anything even kind of close to this." --Oprah Winfrey

Oh my goodness! Did Oprah just compare Obama's election into presidential office to a terrorist attack? Oh, joy it is getting better already, our 44th president of the United States has been compared to the unity after a terrorist attack. I am feeling extremely safe now.

"Now we know who John McCain is hoping to get votes from, people like Joe the Plumber, um I mean what plumber makes $250,000.00 a year" - Barack Obama

Oh yes, most of you probably remember Joe the plumber. The man that questioned Obama's tax plan... big mistake. The sad thing is that it was a simple question that was asked by a middle class American that was concerned about Obama's tax plan and for that he paid big time, the media made sure of that.  We have a very fair and caring media don't we?

"I have campaigned in 49 of the 51 states. I haven't campaigned in Hawaii or Alaska yet, my campaign advisors won't let me." -Barack Obama

I introduce to you fellow American's the President of the United States of America.
The "well qualified" man that is now our President can't even count how many states we have.

Well those were just a few of the statements that were made by the President and his radical supporters/friends. Those are only a few of the many topics that people need to be concerned about. For instance The War on Terror, Health Care, his tax plans, and many more issues! I would love to write about every one of them but I am afraid that would take forever so I must save those topics for a different day!

I know that isn't a big political entry. I just needed to say something so I could clear the "global warming" from my bloodstream. I don't really like Obama and he makes me quite upset, but he is the leader that was appointed to rule over the United States and we must respect that. I believe that there must be a major disaster before the people unite together and become one nation under God and not multiple parties in one nation under different Gods. And maybe Obama will be the one that will make that happen. I hope that we will not have to experience another major disaster, but if that is God's will so be it. I do hope that God will give Obama wisdom and that he will help Obama make the right decisions for this country!

I hope you enjoyed this entry!

    God bless America,

You are totally right. i have a great deal of respect for Dr. King, but what people have done to the movement is very sad. Its aptly summed up by the comment in the closing prayer at the inauguration. With a black man ascending to the presidency, proving that racism has largely died out, we hear this, Let us pray for the day that "Black will not be told to get in the back, where brown can stick around, where yellow can be mellow, where the red man can get ahead man, and when white will embrace what is right".
God help us...

Great post!

God bless

I've been fine! I spent the night with my grandparents Fri. And my great aunt and uncle and their son and his new wife came in from Georgia. Brown and Daddy are on a 10 mile hike today for Boy Scouts. And I go to stay home! :)

Murphy turned 3! She getting old! We've had her for a little over 2 years! That's hard to believe! :)

For the sake of argument, and not because I dislike you :) I have to say Barak Obama is doing an amazing job. Granted it doesn't look the greatest. But he is leading a nation that is coming out of a crisis. And at the same time he is trying to rebuild America's reputation, because up until now we haven't been the most well liked people. Please give him patience. By the end of his term I believe a lot of things will be cleared up, and that America will be a more reputable United States than it was before. God bless!
