Yay!  I'm turnning   nine!  I  can't  wait !  My  sister  says  the  present   she's  giving  me  isn't   very    nice. But  I'm  not  sure I  want  to  see what  it is. My  birthday  is  on  May  7.

This is my nutcracker.  I think he's special because I got him for Christmas from my Grandma a couple of years ago. He is from the story of the nutcracker in the Nutcracker ballet.  I have that book and music too.  I really like him.  He doesn't really crack nuts.  He cracks peanut m&m's though!

We just got a new computer, so I will be able to start blogging again soon.  I finished my cursive writing book, so I can learn to type next too!  For the last six months, I've been busy at home learning about American history.  I just finished the book "Pocahantas and the Strangers" by Clyde Robert Bulla.  I read about three chapters every day.  I liked it because I like stories about Indians.  We have a lot of snow on the ground here.  About 4 feet.  We have a very fun tube run near here that we can walk to.  My sister and I like to play there in the afternoons when we don't have to do more school.

Me and my family are going on a trip to SAN DIEGO!    We will go to my uncle's wedding  and my cousins are going there too.  Woo-hoo!   I can't wait!  We will camp on the beach.  On the way we are going to go to the Grand Canyon!  I cannot wait!

Snow Crystal

This is a slide show of my seventh year from my 7th birthday to my 8th birthday.

My birthday is on May 7th.  I celebrated it in Fort Collins and here on the mountain.  I had the one in Fort Collins with my cousins.  Here on the mountain I celebrated with my friends here.  For my birthday I got a new tamagotchi from my older sister, some money from my aunt Linda and from my uncle Andy.  My mom and dad got me a shiny, satiny comforter and new sheets.  My cousins gave me a set of notebooks and pencil and stickers.  My grandma and grandpa gave me some craft things.

I lost my second tooth right before my birthday.  I got a quarter with a horse on it from the first tooth fairy, and a quarter with a mountain on it from the second one.

We are finished with school now.  My mom still wants me to do math and reading during the summer, though.

I can ride my bike on two wheels.  Not training wheels any more and not a tricycle.  It's fun!  I like to ride my bike in front of my house.  I rode it all around with my friend Andrew yesterday.  I even went down a step!  Me and Andrew had fun.  Andrew rode on my sister's bike.  My bike is pink and glittery.  I call it "Glitter". 

I am in Andrew's club.  I can't tell about it more because it is a secret.

I got some new clothes yesterday.  I got some candy "Bottle Caps" too.

My eyes are tired, so I will quit.

There once was a princess that was so crazy!  The only thing she loved was frogs!  Whenever she would see a frog, she would run to it, and she would kiss it.  All these handsome princes loved her.  Whenever she would kiss a frog it would PLOP turn into a prince.  Then this funny looking guy went to find another frog for her.  When she saw that frog, she said, "Oh goody!  Another frog!"  She ran right to that frog.  When the frog jumped out of her way, she kissed the funny man instead!  The funny man then started jiggling up and down.  He turned into a frog.  She kissed the funny frog again, but he didn't turn into anything.  He stayed a frog.  She was so happy that she kissed him again.  The funny frog was so happy being a frog because he got to be kissed by the beautiful princess all the time.  The princess said, "Pee-UUU! "  (The funny frog stunk!)  Then the princess got her wedding with the frog.  They lived happily ever after.

I am having a good winter.  Christmas was fun.  Are you having a good winter? 

For Christmas we stayed at home.  I got lots of presents.  One is a Tamagotchi.  It is a creature that starts out as an egg, and you feed it, play with it, clean up its poop and pee, and make it happy.  It sleeps, , watches TV, takes a bath, goes potty, plays games called "Bump" and "Get" and "Flag" and "Heading" and "Mendry" and "Sprint".  I can buy presents for it with points I earn.  I can make it wear a bow, walk on a ball, listen to music, do weights to grow strong, and wrap presents. 

I also got an Ariel polly pocket.

In school I learn Spanish.  Adios!

My baby brother was born Friday.  He's cute!  I love him.  His hair is long and brown.  His eyes are blue.  He was 10 lbs and 6 oz.  He's not so big.  He licks his lips and cries and sleeps most of the time.  His poop smells like yeast!  Just like homemade bread that just came out of the oven!

Let me tell you what is up with me.

My baby brother is gonna come soon!  I'm so excited!  I am!  I am!

I finished a couple of my school books this month.  I finished the Miquon Orange book, my HWT printing book (1st grade).  I am almost finished with Explode the Code book 2.

I'm having fun with my sisters and my friends.  We play outside in the snow, sliding down hills in my sled.

I like Lucy.  She's my favorite character from Narnia.  Lucy is one of the best in Narnia because she is so cute.

My life is so fun right now.  You won't believe it.  It snowed 8 inches last night and all day today.  It is so great to play in the snow.

These are the trees right across from our house, when I woke up this morning.

Can you believe it?!  We had to do our school work first, but then we got to play in the snow before lunch.  I don't have a snowsuit yet, so I got soaking wet.  It sure is cold!

This is me after lunch.  I got new glasses this week.  I just have to wear them for reading, but I like to wear them all the time.  I earned the purse by working really hard this week obeying my Mom.  Inside it has stuff like fingernail polish, lip gloss and body glitter.  I love it!

This week I played dress-ups with my little sister while my mom was working with my older sister with her schoolwork.  Here is a picture of me:

When I was little (about 2 or 3), I asked my mother why there weren't any deer in a fiield we were driving by.  My mom told me that they may not come out because it was raining.  I thought about it, and then protested, "but mom they're 'rain'-deer".  She has liked to tell that story to people a lot, but when she does, it embarrasses me.
