My Little Garden

May. 1, 2009 - Show and Tell Friday

This is my first apron that I sewed myself.  I sewed it by hand.  My sister accidentally pulled off one of the ties.

This is the closeup of the pocket up on top.  You can see my stitches.  I enjoyed sewing it myself without any help.

Lastly, this one is me modeling my apron.

This has been a Show and Tell Friday with Canadagirl.  You can join in the fun by going to www.homeschoolblogger.com/canadagirl.

That is a lovely apron. One thing good about it is that you will never see any spills on it! It's so bright and cheery, too.

What an ambitious job to sew it all by hand! You did a very good job. You will have it fixed in no time. And the extra practice, well that is always a very good thing. Maybe if you make one for your sister she will leave yours be?

Great sewing project! I hope it gets lots of use in the kitchen - or is just for crafts? Both Abby and I are learning to sew together and we are getting better with each new project.
Great show and tell!

That is SO cool! I never made a apron. I have a bad habit of starting a project and never finishing it! LOL

Hi,
Nice apron. You can sow quite well. Hand sowing is hard, I like machine sowing better.
