One day I was scanning the internet for a cheep recording program that I could recommend to my fellow Bloggers and friends. After a long search I began to think to my self “Is there any decent people out there who are not trying to rip me off”. I was almost ready to give up all hope in humanity when, almost by accident, I came across something extraordinary. I saw two words “Open” “Source”. I began to sweat, but after being fooled so many times I hardly dared to hope. After a few moments I had downloaded Audacity v1.3.0b, a FREE recording program. Not only is this program free, it’s good. You could spend a lot of money on something that dose, essentially, the same thing.

   Audacity v1.30b can be downloaded for Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix. It comes with all the essential plugins and is very easy to use. The best thing about this program is there are no strings attached. The second best thing is that it is very safe and easy to download. (the file is less than 3mb!).
