My Molly Girl
Okay...she isn't mine...she's a riding school horse...but I love her....so I call her "My"
Anyways let my tell you how I met Molly...
I've been riding at Meadowlarke Stables for almost a year, and as I went down the isle of horses I thought to myself. "I wish they had a palomino horse...." Since I have a passion for palominos and they didn't have any..boo... and they I look in to a stall and there right in that stall was a palomino horse. I couldn't believe it.
She was beautiful, I would of stared at her for the entire day, but i knew I had to prepare for my ride.
I'll never forget that day....
Weeks later I read the list from which we knew what horse we are to ride. I looked and saw my name beside the name: Molly
I was surprised for some girls at the barn said Molly was retired but here I see my name right beside Molly's. Excitedly I went to meet Molly for the first time.
She was amazing, so many words could describe her.
Gentle, calm, kind, understanding, loving, spirited, graceful..she's completely wonderful!
To be continued....... |

Aug. 3, 2007 - Sweet story!
Did you know that the girl in my books has a palomino named Taffy? Well, you said you loved my books, so maybe you know this? Have you read them?
Thanks for joining the contest, even if it was too late to get in the drawing. The publisher picked #1. I liked #2 better, too. But they're both good. You can see it at my Friday Show and Tell at my blog.
You have a long braid, just like I do!
You can go to my webpage and see other things like "How to Draw a Horse" video and stuff like that. Did you know the girl on the cover of my books is a homeschooler, too? :-)
