Now this isn't a joke, but every winter- -when it snows-- horses come to our backyard. Yeah, sure we live in the city, but they come anyway. I took some snap shots, have a look!
Meet Comet Comet is four years old, very friendly, came to us 3 years ago.. and now he's grown so much!
((Yeah, he looks kinda deformed here......to small head...))
Meet Blizzard Blizzard the first Snow horse we ever met. Not only a very good friend but also the mother of Comet. She's about 9 years old now.
I love your snow horses. You had me going there for a bit. I didn't know if you meant real horses or not.
BTW, the pretty palomino belongs to a gal named Vicki. She let us use her pinto horse, Dixie, for pics for the cover of my book 3 (I'm sure you've seen the cover pic). She's hoping that Star (the palomino's name, to answer your question) will be the new "Taffy" for the rest of the books. The other palomino (on book 2) moved away so I was on the look out for a new "cover horse." Vicki and I went riding the other day--she rode Dixie and I--obviously--rode Star. But we saddled up first. The pic on my blog was a quickie before we actual did any real riding.
I'm glad you think Star is pretty. Vicki keeps her horses gorgeous.
