Wikipedia is a free, online, user-written
encyclopedia. "Wiki" is a revolutionary yet simple technology for
building and viewing communal information and communication
resources. The basic concept is that anybody can add or edit
information. KnowHomeschooling has now launched a homeschool wiki. (A big tip of the hat to Harvey and Laurie Bluedorn, who spotted it first!)
I've wanted to learn how to use wikis for quite a while. This is
going to be fun! If you've mastered RSS already, this may be your
chance to move on to the next technological challenge. (Let me
know if you want help!)
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog - it is always nice to know someone has stopped by!
I have enjoyed reading your blog this evening. You are the first blogging Dad I have read!
You seems to have a very sweet family.
Stacy
P.S. I am excited to know about homeschoolwiki
Thanks for the mention of our site. We're really excited about it. We have a blog section, and we'd love to have you add your blog there. And that goes for all the other bloggers on here, as well.
Mastered RSS? Well, that might be stretching it a bit. I can subscribe to other people's blogs on My Yahoo!, but for some reason not my own. Go figure!
