I am always treated to the most unexpected treats here. Congratulations on your 31 lbs bird! Way to feed! i will love reading about the fresh flavors dancing on your tongues.
I almost thought I was dressing our own turkey today . For real I actually had to remove the windpipe. So disgruntled butcher I guess!
I hear you (even without words). We've got a smaller crowd this year since my sister-in-law took her family to Disneyworld, so ours wasn't as big, but it's Cajun spiced and fried--YUM-O! I'm looking forward to the yams, dressing, and green bean cassarole that will accompany it!
When we did our Medieval Feast, our chicken came from the store with the neck still attached! I thought that was mighty cooperative of him! lol Hope y'all enjoyed your homegrown turkey!
Blessings,
Laurie
