Wonderful scripture based book that answers hard questions on parenting a child with special needs.

A compilation of stories of families who are succesfully home educating their child with a disability.

Life Skills For Kids, (Equipping your child for the real world)...Christine Field

Is This Your Child?...Doris Rapp, M.D.

An eye-opening book on how allergies to all kinds of things from foods to cleaning supplies can adversely affect our children, including their learning and behavior.

Hearing Equals Behavior...Guy Berard

Another eye-opening book on how so much in our lives is tied to our auditory system.

Laying Community Foundations...Linda J. Stengle

This is a wonderful resource for helping to establish relationships that will help support your child when you are no longer able.

ABC's of Special Needs Planning...Bart Stevens

This book is a guide to help parents plan for the future care for their child with a significant disability.

Views From Our Shoes (growing up with a brother or sister with special needs)...Donald Myer

This is a compilation of stories submitted by children with siblings with a disability.

BOOKS HELPFUL IN TEACHING SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN

Hopping Good Cents - Barbara Dixon (Pro-Ed)

This book was wonderful for teaching Zack to count money. We tried for years to get him to be able to mix coins and count. This really helped him!

HELP for Auditory Processing - Andrea M. Lazzari (LinguiSystems)

This book is very helpful in increasing auditory and language processing.

Think It-Say It - Luanne Martin  (Pro-Ed)

This is a great book for improving reasoning and thinking skills.

"Your are to rejoice before the LORD your God
in everything you put your hand to." (Deut. 12:18)

~ Sonya ~

Chronicles of our nutty daily life as we seek to glorify God on our journey in homeschooling our children, one if which has significant special needs, and bring our sons home from Liberia.
