Chick-fil-A drive-thru at Westgate, to gather around the flag pole for a special time of prayer. This will be a time to pray together, not only for our country, but our children, friends, churches, and other concerns. Chick-fil-A would also like to offer all Homeschooled families and anyone who would like to come out for a special time of prayer, a breakfast combo (chicken biscuit, hash browns, and small drink) for only $2.59. The American Rhetoric Web site is dedicated to Public Communication of all kinds and includes a Speech Bank, Rhetorical Figures in Sound, Movie Speeches and more. The American Rhetoric Web site hosts "The Top 100 Speeches," considered "the most significant speeches in American history" according to leading scholars and compiled by two researchers in the field. BubbleWrap Competition for Young Inventors
Sealed Air Corporation and The National Museum of Education announce the third annual BubbleWrap® Competition for Young Inventors for grades five through eight. This innovative contest incorporates national and state academic standards in the fields of engineering design, problem-solving, entrepreneurship and all of the core curricular subjects. This year's competition includes prizes for students and their teachers.

Our fall semester will include regular rehearsals each Wednesday followed by a Christmas concert in December.
A performing group open to homeschoolers ages 13-18 in the Columbia metro area.

ColumbiaVoices, will begin in September 2008! This choir will focus on four-part singing, sight-reading, ear training, intonation, and performance. Our goal is to train singers to use their God-given talents in ministry for Him.
Rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church on Bush River Road. |
