Hello from Freebie Friday at TOS

There are many free resources on the Internet to help with homemaking. I posted about a few of those on the Econobusters blog. I thought I would share them with you. This week I posted about a free E-Book that I found with lessons to teach our kids about homemaking. I think this wonderful resource would make a great addition as a homeschool home-ec course or a good summer class. Even though it is summer, you can still get some spring cleaning done. Here is a great resource that I found recently! It is a free E-Book on spring cleaning. If you need some help in the kitchen area, here is a free E-Book I shared about having a prepared pantry. With all of these freebies, you may need some ideas on how to store them on the computer, so here is my post on how to store E-Books. www.econobusters.com Homeschool Freebies by Jamin We stay pretty busy in the summer. But sometimes there are days when my kids need something new and interesting to do while the temperature soars outside. One fun thing to do is make our own paper toys! There is an unlimited supply of free printable toys online. Below are a few I know my kids would enjoy. I hope yours enjoy them too. Handcraftedfantastictoys.com has an adorable dancing monkey and some fun paper dolls. The toymaker.com has some awesome paper mice that use marbles to make mouse racers! Do you have a hat lover? This site is loaded with printable paper hats you can assemble and wear! How about a fractal fidgit? You can make your own dodecahedron calendar with the free printables at this site! This site has a blank jigsaw puzzle you can decorate, cut, and send to a friend! And one of my favorite sites, Janbrett.com has directions on how to make a milk carton armadillo! And for the preschoolers in your life, how about some paper sandwiches? Be sure to print out the free placemat too! If your preschooler enjoyed the paper sandwiches, be sure to check out the barn play set and kitty play set from the same website. If you want to search through more great paper toys, here are two sites that are loaded with them! Free Paper Toys and Wonder Time. Happy homeschooling!
