Oh my goodness, I am my mother's daughter. For the first time in my life, I've set FIRE to my dinner. O_O Foot high flames were coming out of the grill - and that was AFTER I dumped a glass of cold water on it. All I could think of was "Well, at least we know what NOT to do." Andy (10 y.o.) was standing behind me the whole time, screaming like a girl. >.< I just wish I could have gotten a picture of it to show off at my mom's blog and go "Haha, my flames are higher than yours!!!" Needless to say, the house was full of smoke - again, and I had 30 min. to get everything back to normal before The Mom walked through the door. I managed to do that, and everything would have been perfect, if the kids hadn't ratted on me as soon as The Mom stepped through the door. *bangs head on desk*

I have two guitars now. One is the electric, which I showed off in a previous entry. Now, a family from church lent me their acoustic guitar, and I'm bringing that with me to and from work. It's really pretty, and I can play it. :) Happyness! I am sooo glad I picked up the art of music. 8 months ago, I would have doubted any ability that I could play, or that I would even buy a guitar. Thank you God, for opening my eyes to my second earthly passion!

Speaking of work... I'm now working full time. I've got two jobs. Last time I updated my work, I was taking care of three kids, three days a week. Now, on Thursday and Friday, I'm taking care of a 6 y.o. girly cheerleader, and her adorable 3.5 mo brother. xD It was love at first sight! He cuddled with me beautifully, and finished the day off with a nice wad of drool dripping off my arm. *sigh!* I'm in love!

I've been tagged several times... I'll have to go organize them into one entry tomorrow. Tonight, I'm too tired. I went to a water park today with the kids, and spent most of the time in the 3ft. deep pool with the 4yo princess, teaching her how to float on her back and practicing ballet with her. xD I had fun, and I think she did too.

Whoa, Emma. I can't say that I have ever had foot-high flames shooting off my dinner. Why didn't you do anything exciting like that when I was at your house a couple of weeks ago?! LOL

The reason nothing exciting happened that day was because I didn't actually COOK the burgers, now did I? ;) If I had had charge of the grill, I'm sure you would have had a fireworks show - and a couple of 1st degree burns most likely. ;)

Oh my gosh! You know when I was ten my mom was going to cook something and she only put oil in and left it on high. Well I was washing dinner and all the sudden WHOSH! The pan went up in flames! So I screamed and grabbed the hot pan (NEVER DO) well I put it under cold water and the fire alarm went off. My mom can into the kitchen and my arm was burnt! I got a two degrees burn. Well I'll talk to you later!

I always use the microwave to cook my stuff. :P No flames there. Except if you tried to cook half of a green grape in it...I heard it would ignite into a fireball.

I seriously have no clue. I was chatting with Tyler on his C-box, and we both said, "Hey, let's chat over the phone!" Well, I called him that night while he was on the phone with Osprey and the three of us chatted for quite a while. Hey, we need to talk. Twould be fun!

Yeah, I'd like to hear more about you playing guitar!! I might have gone a little further on the guitar if my mom hadn't donated hers to a Cuba mission trip. :)

Emma, it's been forever since I"ve been by here! I have some catching up to do... and finally now that work's over, and before school starts, I think I'll do it.

I really wish there were enough kids around here to babysit. I think one of the best times of my life was this summer when babysat my three little cousins. It's so fun to work with kids. =]

Ack, speaking of tags... I have a TON I was supposed to do today... I guess I'll go do that...

Well, I've never set fire to *food* before, but I have melted part of the handle of our manual can-opener (while my Dad was in the room, no less) and I believe I've also set a towel on fire (though it was an old one my Mother didn't really care for?).
