Hey! I said before that I would post my review of Prince Caspian, so here it is. This does contain movie spoilers, so if you haven't seen the movie yet, you may not want to read this.

My Review Of Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian
The movie was considerably different than the book, but still very good.
When the movie began, I thought that it seemed a little rushed, and that if you didn't know who the characters are, you might miss something. I would have liked to have seen the part of the story where Dr. Cornelius is teaching Caspian about Old Narnia, because that is one of the best parts of the book, in my opinion, and it explains so much about the story of Caspian and the Old Narnians. So, at the beginning of the movie when Dr. Cornelius wakes Caspian and says, "There'll be no stargazing tonight.", I think that it would have made more sense had that been included. .
And then, when you see the Pevensies, the first scene that you see Peter in, he is in a fight, and then there is a bit of a rivalry between Peter and Caspian, (which none of this happened in the book), but I can kinda see how it fit into the movie.
Also, I didn't think that Aslan looked as "real" in this movie as he did in "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe".
I think that the battle scene was very good. The whole time I was watching it, the way the movie fit together, it makes it look like Peter or Caspian is going to kill Miraz, instead of what actually happens. The attack on the castle was pretty good too, kinda sad at the end though... I thought that it kinda makes Peter look like he had never been a king in Narnia before and like he doesn't know what he's doing.
I like how there are paintings on the walls in the tunnels leading to the Stone Table. I thought that it was a good way to show the Pevensies' previous adventures in Narnia.
And, at the very end of the movie, I was thinking that it would be funny if they ended the movie with the same ending as the book, but I wasn't expecting it really, but they did. That was one of the things I was looking for at the end of the movie is where Edmund says, "I left my torch in Narnia."
But, overall, I think that Prince Caspian is an AWESOME movie, and I'm really looking forward to the DVD.

Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've been busy lately.
I went camping in Cades Cove a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun!
V.B.S. was last week, it was fun too! It went great. We had fireworks on Friday night which was really cool.
Saturday we went to the drive-in and watched "Wall-E" (such a cute movie, and funny), and "Prince Caspian" . I was so excited. :-) It was like, 3:00 in the morning though when we got home. Needless to say, we were all quite tired. I'll probably post my review of "Prince Caspian" here in a little while.
Well, I guess that is all.
I meant to post something the other day, but I just didn't get around to it. :-)
Sunday evening, my little sister Roosie was bitten by a dog, and so Sunday was a bit traumatic, (you can read more about it here at my Mom's blog), for all of us, but especially for Roosie. She is still a little sore and she is kinda scared of dogs right now, so please pray for her.
Then, the rest of the week I've been reading (I'm currently at 63 books so far this year) :-) , and working on some of my drawings. I've been trying to get better at drawing faces, and shading, so that is what I have been practicing on.

I know, it's been a few days since I posted...
Saturday was a very interesting day for me... why? Well, we went to "Rainforest Adventures" Saturday afternoon. My sister and youngest brother had been once before, but the rest of us hadn't. I had a lot of fun. The interesting part: I held a tarantula, which is really odd...beacuse, well, I usually am really afraid of spiders...a lot. I also got to touch an alligator and a snake and a porcupine (its head). They also had kangaroos, rabbits and some really pretty birds. There were also turtles, lizards and a lot of different snakes and a lot of other animals too.
Then later that afternoon we went camping until early Monday afternoon. I had a lot of fun. Monday afternoon we went to my grandparents' house and had a cook-out and stuff. I played some board games with my brothers, sister and my cousin, (I didn't win though... but still, the games were fun).
And today, I made a 3-column template! You can check it out at my test blog . It's not completely done yet, I'm still adding stuff to it.

Been kinda busy lately. I've been helping my Mom decorate for VBS and stuff like that.
I also finished reading the "Chronicles Of Narnia" series today. I wanted to re-read the series and hopefully have it finished by the time "Prince Caspian" is in theatres, so I was excited that I finished it today, since I started re-reading the series on Thursday. :-) This is only the second time I've read the entire series all the way through, but some of the books I've read several times. And then I was able to watch 2 scenes from "Prince Caspian" on tv the other day, (the first of which I thought was very funny) .

This is my 50th blog entry!
Not much has really been going on. We went to see my grandparents Sunday, which was a lot of fun!
I have also learned how to weave a basket this week, which is very fun.
Here is one I made:
I made it last night (using embroidery thread). It took about an hour to finish. My Mom and I also made a reed basket, which didn't take as long to make, but I didn't get a picture of it, ( we were trying to figure out how long they would take to make since they are 2 of the VBS crafts this year).

I couldn't really think of anything to post...so I am going to post a picture.
That is a picture I drew on our sidewalk a few weeks ago. It's just a wonderful work of art isn't it? *laughs* But that is what happens when it is warm outside, and a person who loves to draw has a piece of chalk in her hand, (okay, there were several pieces of chalk...not sidewalk chalk, but the kind of chalk you use when writing on a chalkboard...so I had to have a lot of chalk). =-) But, then the rain washed it away a few days later... =-(
Also, I posted some new "LOTR" banners on Treasures From Bag End earlier.

Not much going on today, but I am going to post some about the museum that my Mom and Dad took us to. It was so much fun!
We went to the Gray Fossil Museum, Saturday. They had the " A T. Rex Named Sue" exhibit, which was really cool. Here is a slide show of some of the pictures my Mom took of "Sue".
Pretty cool, huh? Sue is 42 feet long, and extremely tall! We also were able to see some of the fossils found at the Gray fossil site, which I thought was really cool. Well, I guess that's all for now.

Hey! Today was very fun. In school today, I had to do English, Math and Science, but it wasn't too bad. Then after that, my brothers and I helped my Mom with some stuff outside. But, then the suggestion came up that we should have a water gun fight...VERY FUN! Especially since there were four of us playing, (me, my brothers, and my sister).
Good thing it has been very warm today. I don't think that you could really say that any of us won, but I sure had fun.

I've been working on the template for "Treasures From Bag End", but it is not done yet. I've had school. We finished our lapbooks about the American Revolution and the Constitution. They look pretty good.
I finished reading the " Fellowship Of The Ring " a few weeks ago. I've read a few other books too, so I've read close to 30 books this year.
I'm entering a writing contest, so I've been working on the story for that.
I'm thinking about changing my template, but I'm not sure yet. I added a thing for " Prince Caspian " on my blog, so now there are some more videos, instead of just the trailer.

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I've had this bug that has been going around lately, and it is not fun. :-( But today, I feel much better. :-) *smiles*
I even went outside earlier for a little while. All the snow we had from the other day is gone though. But, the snow was very pretty while it lasted, and my Mom got pictures of it.
Yesterday, my Mom and Dad took us to Cades Cove, and we had a lot of fun.

It's kinda warm here today, and as I said before, I went outside for a while to read. I'm currently reading " Lord of the Rings : The Fellowship of the Ring " . I'm currently on chapter 7, ( " In The House Of Tom Bombadil " ). When I finish reading it, it'll be the 23rd book I've read this year, so far.

Hey! Been a little busy the past few days. We had a Valentine's Day dinner at church last night. It snowed yesterday too! It's kinda funny because Tuesday, it was warm enough to wear sandals to go somewhere, and then yesterday it was cold enough to snow. I also got to go to the bookstore today. I bought "The Secret Files Of The East India Trading Company ", (yes, I bought another POTC book). Hey! Couldn't think of a title for this entry, so I decided to use one of my favorite movie quotes. Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I got the Pirates Of The Caribbean edition of "Sceneit? the other day. That game is so fun! I was playing it with my brothers and sister yesterday. We had one thing where we had to watch a clip from POTC: Curse Of The Black Pearl , and we had to complete one of the lines, and we all said it at the exact same time! It was funny, especially since me and my sister had been talking about how funny it would be if we had a question about that scene. Wierd, huh? I've also been writing some of my script, (it's POTC).
