Do you realise how much power you have? If you are reading this, you probably already have a blog. Do you realise how much power that gives you?
When you write a blog post, you are writing to just about anybody who goes onto your site. That could be someone next door, next state, or overseas. Anybody who clicks on your blog will get to hear what you have to say. So what do we tell them? We tell them what’s happening in our lives and in our families. That is important. But we could tell them something even more important.
As people, and as Christians, we have opinions on real issues. We do have opinions on politics, economics, Africa, abortion, Evolution, laws and God. We all have opinions. We all express them in our actions and in what we tell our friends. Our opinions are important. We live in a democracy, where decisions are made by the weight of the majority. We have a right to speak, and tell anybody what we think about an issue. We often exercise that right with our friends, but have you ever thought about doing something much more than that?
We can do this by sharing our opinions on our blog.
Have you ever heard the saying “Don’t die with the music still in you”? What I am trying to tell you is “Don’t die with the Word still in you!” Let’s tell the world what God has to say.People all over the world can read your blog and see what you think. Let’s tell the world what we do think. Not just about our life, but about our world. We can make a difference.
My challenge is to write just one post this month about what God has to say on an issue. It doesn’t have to be some massive political essay, it can be a short blog-post about something as small as video-games or fashion or an activity. God has something to say about EVERY part of our lives. Let’s go out and tell the world what it is!
Mhhhhh. thanks for that post. i really needed to read something like that. I've been kinda slacking and posting really pointless stuff. So I think I'll take you up on that challenge.
And just out of curiousity... do you have anything specific that you would like to see posted? I can probably take on whatever it is.
Thanks again for that post.
I wish I new you in person.
You seem like you'd be a good friend.
Thanks for the comment on my dalmatian post! No, I don't know why they (the horses) wouldn't get along with the other dogs... I'll have to find that out! If I ever do (...) would you like me to let you know what I find?
Wasn't that hard to train her? On the page that I got most of my information from, it didn't mention blindness, but it did say, "In their late teens, both males and females may suffer bone spurs and arthritic conditions." That doesn't sound like blindness though. :-)
Thanks again for the comment! My sister is trying to get me to write in her place again someday, but I don't have any ideas... Do you? I don't really want to do another dog...
Josh!
It's great to see what you're up to! God really is working through you. Hold tightly to him!
"Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the Lord. Jeremiah 1:7-8

Yup! We definitely have an influence on the world through our blogs. That's why I am disappointed when I find bloggers who say they're Christians, but settle for low quality content. Thanks for making an effort!

Yes it is Avrannian Grounds... and you spell it Avrannian Grounds... it is probably a bit of a confusing name actually the name of the whole book is Avrannian Grounds: The UoUs' War, and I finnished it just yesterday... I couldn't help feeling relieved that it wasn't another unfinnished book when I wrote the final sentence and then wrote THE END and signed my name... all I have to do is edit it now. I couldn't believe it! It had, like so FEW of any of the other books I had ever tried writing - reached an ending!
I don't really know what else to say for now... but
bye for now

Yes, I know what you mean, my Dad has a site on youtube for the very purpous - preaching to people.
I don't get around to writing much of the sort, because the main topic that I really know how to discuss is evolution, and if I posted posts on prooving the creation to be true everytime then it will be the same thing every time. I know this, loads of school kids who grow up don't believe in God, yet they just need to be shown the evidence and the truth that there IS a God... I think that is one first major step, there is enough proof to show them, proof all over the place overwhelming proof!!!! But then again - many schoolkids and even grown-ups sadly cant even read... so what my Dad does is he, rather than in writng, he preaches the gospel using videos and films those rare British tornadoes that seem to like visiting our garden every few years, or storms, or wildlife, or something like that so it captures peoples attention and they end up being preached at! But he does preach in writing aswell ofcourse.
