How many times have my kids said, "But ___________ is doing it," and I have responded with, "If _______ jumped off a bridge, would you?"  Well, here I am doing the same thing trying to figure out what all of the fuss about a blog is about.    Most people who know me know I will try almost anything once.  Most times, I do nothing more than once - LOL.  I have tried sewing, crocheting, cross stitch, scrap booking, sponge painting, and the list goes on and on.  I have found that I really don't enjoy doing any of it.  I like the end result, but I don't love any of those things.  My dad recently taught me to use a miter saw when we were remodeling our kitchen.  I really liked working with wood and remembered thinking that it sure beats sewing!  I might just try to make a simple piece of furniture, but I better do a good job because I will probably only do it.......once.  And so I regress.  The point is that this blog may be one of those things that I only do once or for a short period of time.  So, if it does just happen to go away, you will know what happened.

I can so totally relate to you, except that when I finally find something I like I will work at it, play with it, or eat it till it makes me sick then I leave it alone. I'm not sure how long I will blog, myself, but for now, it's fun. :o) Good to see you, Stacy! Jen<><

I have a new line for you. One of my friends just mentioned today that her response to the "But _____'s doing it!" is "What is our standard? Is it _______ or is it God's Word?"

I don't think she says it any less than the rest of us lol but it might help you to have some variety as well as point the dc back to the real issue!
