What I have been doing lately.

How are all of you guys doing? I am so sorry I haven't posted in a long time. I have been really busy lately. =( I will try to post more often. Really soon I will be posting some pictures of the Jonas Brothers that I drew. I was kind of bored. So when I do, leave me lots of comments, and tell me what you think. =) What have you all been up to lately? Have any of you been watching the Olympics? I have been watching it a lot. I like to watch swimming, gymnastics, and volleyball. When swimming is on I like to watch Michael Phelps. He did really good this year! I really liked watching the races that were really close. Those were great to watch!
When it came to Gymnastics, I really liked watching the men. They all did really good. I like to watch Jonathan Horton. I like the day that he was sticking all of his landings! It was so cool to watch.
I also was watching the mens volleyball. I enjoyed watching Jake Gibs and his team mate. They were really good. When I was watching them I was yelling at the TV. I was really into the game. My Mom was laughing at how crazy I was going during the game. =) Well I need to go to bed now. =)

Rafting Camp

Rafting Camp was awesome this year! We left on July the 2nd at 7:00 a.m. We all loaded the bus, and left for camp. The bus ride was about 10 hours long. It was a long bus ride, but fun because you had your friends on the bus with you. We got to camp around 7:00 p.m. When we got there we got all of our tents set up, and stuff unpacked. Then we all gathered for dinner. Then we all talked, and hung out for a while. Then our leader Rob said that it was time for bed.

The second day we all got up at 8:15 a.m. for breakfast. After breakfast, we all had quiet time for about half and hour. Then after quiet time we all got into small groups. I thought me small group was pretty funny. Then we all got sun screen on and got ready for rafting. We all rode the bus to the spot that we were starting at. All of the guys unloaded the rafts onto the beach. All of the girls got to help with life jackets, and straps for the rafts. After we had all of the rafting stuff ready we all went to go eat lunch. When the girls were done eating lunch we all went to go and cool rafts, while the guys pumped up the rafts. While we were all doing that the leaders went to go and check out all of the rapids that we would be doing. When they got back we all got our life jackets on, and got numbered off. Then we all went to our rafts, cats, and paddle boat. Then we all took off. We rafted for a long time the first day. Some of the rapids that we went on were really big. We rafted all the way to camp. Then we left all of the stuff up for the rest of the day. Then we had free time, and dinner time. After dinner we had a little bit of free time, and then went into Bible study. We were reading the last three books of Luke. They were really good chapters. After Bible study we all hung out until bed time.

The third day we all got up at 8:15 a.m. again. The morning was the same as the last day. When breakfast was done we all did quiet time, and small groups. Then we all got ready for rafting again. We started rafting at camp, and went to the spot that we normally would start to raft at. We stopped to have lunch, and then went rafting again. Then when we were done rafting for that day we all put the stuff away. Some people went back to camp early so they could start making dinner. The rest of us stayed to help put all of the rafts, and stuff away. Then we all headed back to camp, and had dinner. Then we did our Bible study, and hung out till bed time.

The fourth day we all got to sleep in till about 9:15 a.m. It was our day off to just relax, and hang at camp. We had breakfast at 9:30. After breakfast we all had quiet time, and small groups. Then some of us got to go and float some rapids, climb a big hill, and just stay at camp. I stayed at camp. It was a nice day to relax. Later around 4:30 p.m. we all played a game. We all had to get in teams, and try to win a whole lot of games. I didn’t play all of the games because I started to not feel good. My team got 3rd place. Then when we all had dinner, the team that got 1st place got to go fist, and then 2nd, and then 3rd, and so on. =) Then we did our Bible study around 8:00 p.m. After that it was the same as the other nights.

The fifth day we had to get up at 8:15 a.m. again. We had rafting that day, so the morning was the same as the other rafting days. When we were rafting I was in a raft with our leaders’ dad Bill. A lot of people said that he was really good, but I think that he was really scary. I thought our raft was going to sink, but I didn’t. When we were done he said that we did a really good job riding the nose. Then the rest of the evening was the same.

The sixth day we got up at 8:15 a.m. again. The morning was the same as the last day. This time when we went rating we all got to choose what raft we wanted to go on. I decided to go on someone else’s raft because I didn’t want to get scared again. So I went on a raft with Aaron Jackson. He was pretty funny! I ended up getting scared again! It was funny! When we were in the middle of a big rapid, a wave knocked us over to the side, and it made the raft start tipping to the right side. I was under water, and I could feel it tipping. When It was all over we had a ton of water in our raft. Thank goodness we did not flip! While we were bailing all of the water out of our raft our leader told us that in the middle of the rapid he fell out! I freaked when he told us that! He said that he fell into the water, went under the raft, and came up the other side of the raft. He was able to get back on before another wave came. He told us that was the first time he had ever fallen out of a raft. It was pretty scary. When rafting was all done for the day we all put the stuff away. I got to go back early because I was helping with dinner. That was the last day of rafting for us, so the rest of the people had to stay there extra long. Then the rest of the evening was the same.

The seventh day we all had to get up at 6:00 a.m. We all had to have our stuff packed, and our tents taken down. We got to have a competition with the guys to see who would get done first. It was a tie. Then we all helped get everything packed, and had breakfast. Then we did our beach sweep. After we got all of the garbage off of the beach we got to start the trip home. We left at 9:02 a.m. We were planning on leaving at 10:00 a.m. but we got done earlier than we had planned. We had lunch in the bus. Later we stopped for dinner. Then we finally got to the Church. We helped unload everything and got to go home with all of our parents. It was a long trip, but it was worth it. Something cool that I got to see was, on out trip I got to witness 2 people coming back to Christ, and My sis told me that while they were at training camp a boy named Forest accepted Christ into his life. It was amazing what God did in the lives of all of the people there! That was the trip. It was the best one I have had!

Life

Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted much lately. Not much has been happening. I think we all know what that's like. =) I did get to go get my eyes checked Wednesday. I'm getting glasses next week. I can't wait! How are you guys doing? I really need to post more. Here is something that I found in my sisters' Bible. I know it's like a little kid saying this, but I think it's pretty cool. Here it is:

If I can speak beautifully and can sing an angel, but

Don’t love others, I sound like a child banging on a piano or

A screeching radio.

If I’m very smart, almost a genius, if I can figure out the

Hardest math problems and understand sentence diagrams,

But don’t love others, I am nothing

Love will stand in line and wait its turn.

Love looks for the good in others.

Love doesn’t always want what others have, and it doesn’t

Brag about what it does have.

Love is polite, even when the other person is rude.

Love doesn’t always have to be first.

Love doesn’t get angry over the small things, and it

Doesn’t remember one reason after another to be hurt.

Love isn’t happy when someone else fails but is happy with

The truth.

Love will always protect others, especially those who

Are often picked on or teased.

Love always believes the best about others and is steady

And true.

Love never gives up. Preaching will stop someday. So

Will speeches. Knowledge will come to an end. Today we

Only know part of what there is to know. We can preach and

Speak only with a small part of understanding, but when

Perfection comes then what is imperfect will go away.

I am now young, and so I talk and think and speak like

A child. When I become an adult I will put childish ways

Behind me. Now we see only a poor reflection, like in a

Mirror; then we will see face to fact. Now I only know part

Of what there is to know; then I will know fully and will

Be fully known.

Only three things really matter in life:

        Faith, Hope and Love.

But the greatest of these is Love.

I love to read this! I will try to post more often. Got to go! =)

Orofino Mission's Trip

Just recently I got to go on a mission’s trip to Orofino, Idaho. I had so much fun in Orofino with my friends. This mission’s trip really changed my life. We left on March 29.

The first day we went to the church. We got all of our stuff packed. Then we left. We spent most of the day on the bus. We got to talk with a lot of our friends while we were on the bus. We had some fest stops on the way to Orofino. We finally got to Orofino Community Church. We unpacked and talked with some people. All of the girls got to go and stay at people’s houses. All of the guys got to stay at the church. Later that day all of the girls went with their home-stay families. After all of that was done everybody got to go to bad.

The second day we all got ready for church and breakfast. We stayed for service and fuel. After church and fuel we all had a potluck with everyone. For most of the day we all got to know some Orofino kids and just got to hang out with them. Later we had dinner. Then all of the girls went with their families and the guys stayed at the church. Then we all went to bed.

The third day we got up in the morning and went to breakfast. After breakfast was over we all prayed got split up into different work project teams. I got to break down a deck that day. I had a lot of fun doing it. After we were all done for the day on our work projects, we all went back to the church for lunch. After lunch we all headed up to the Teen Center. We got to also go on a tour to see were a lot of teens hung out around town. When we were all at the Teen Center we got to play with a lot of high school kids and some younger kids. Later that day we served dinner at the Teen Center and did games and shared some of our testimonies. After we were done doing all of that we stayed at the Teen Center for a while longer and then we all headed back the church. The girls got picked up and we all went to bed.

The fourth day we got up and had breakfast and went back to work some more on our work projects. We went to the church for lunch again and went to the Teen Center. When it was 4:00 p.m. some of us went into town to go and invite High-Schoolers to come and hang out with us up at the Teen Center. Then we had dinner at 6:00 p.m. and did some games at the gym and had some more people share their testimonies. The rest of the night was the same as the other nights.

The fifth day we went up to Weippe and did some oil changes and gave milk and bread to poor people. We also cleaned up an old teen center that they had their. Later when we got back we went to the Teen Center and hung out. Then we had dinner and went to the park and played games their. After the games we got to hear some testimonies. I was one of the people that shared that night. Then we all headed back to the church and went to bed.

The next day we all did breakfast and went to go finish up all of our work projects. That day went just like the other day. But the only different thing was that when people were sharing their testimonies they were really powerful. It really got to people.

On Friday we got to relax and hang out at the Teen Center and just do what we wanted. Later that day was the first day we were going to do a retreat with some of the High Schoolers. When the retreat started we all did a Bible study. After that was done we all went to the church and all of us stayed there. Then we got to just talk a lot and hang out.

The next day we finished up our Bible study and talked about what we all learned throughout the week. We all had some really good things that we learned. Later we all cleaned up and got most of our stuff packed, so we could leave the next day.

On Sunday we all went to service and then we said bye to everyone and left. We were all really tired. On the bus we all got to talk about what happened and just shared our favorite parts about the trip. We had some rest stops. Then when it was around 9:00 p.m. we got the church and unloaded all of our stuff. Then we all prayed and left to go home with all of our parents. That is what we did on our trip. Here are some tings that I liked about the trip and that I learned.

Some things that I learned from going to Orofino was just to not be scared to Share God's gift with others. He gave us a gift and he doesn't want us to be selfish and keep it to our selves. He wants us to share it with others so that they too have the gift that they can share. And also just to not be afraid to go out and meet new people. I had always seen people at our church like in Sunday school and in youth group that were new. I always told myself that I should go and say hi, but I never did because  I always had the fear of rejection by that person. But when we were on our trip I went and met new people and they didn't reject me. I ended up building good relationships with them. They turned out to be really good friends. And think how the new people would feel if someone came and said hi to them instead of doing other things. Think how many more people would come because they would feel excepted. And you might like the person and become really good friends with them. I also learned that God is always working in your life. He helped me when I was really scared. Right before I did my testimony I was scared, so before I went up in front of people I prayed and God took all of my fear away. I wasn't nervous at all. I was really calm and I had people tell me that they were amazed at how I was when I got up there. They told me that it looked like I had done it a hundred times before. That was a cool thing that God did in my life.

Randomness

Hey, Guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted in like forever. I have been a little busy lately. Just recently I got back from a retreat with my youth group. It was so much fun. We got to do Bible studies and we got to go swimming, snow boarding and stuff like that. I am still a little bit tired. Right now I have this song stuck in my head. Here is the lyrics to it.

Everything

Find Me Here
Speak To Me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
You are the light
That's leading me
To the place where I find peace again.

You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose...you're everything.

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

You calm the storms, and you give me rest.
You hold me in your hands, you won't let me fall.
You steal my heart, and you take my breath away.
Would you take me in? Take me deeper now?

How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

Cause you're all I want, You're all I need
You're everything, everything
You're all I want your all I need
You're everything, everything.
You're all I want you're all I need.
You're everything, everything
You're all I want you're all I need, you're everything, everything.

And How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

(background) How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?

Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?

That was it. I love that song! My sis SeaChel had a video of people doing a skit to this song. I will try to post more. If I don’t just yell at me. =)

Post

Hey! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a long time. I am going to try and post more. Not much has been happening. I am going to Mexico this year with the Youth Group. It is going to be soooo much fun! We just had a Mexico meeting at our church. I am going to be doing crafts and snack with the younger kids. In order to go to Mexico we have to memorize verses and write our testimony. Writing your testimony is hard. It really makes you think about what God has done in your life and how you were before you accepted him into you life. When you write it, it really shows you how much you have changed over the years. I think that is cool. We are also doing read-throughs with small groups. I can’t wait to go to Mexico!!!!!

Did you know this is what the 3 Eragon book looks like.

Book 3 now officially has a name - BRISINGR!

In addition to the announcement of the book title, Random House has changed the release date of Brisingr from September 23, 2008 to September 20, 2008, after an out-pouring of enthusiasm from book sellers and fans to hold midnight release parties on Friday night, September 19th. The book will now go on sale at 12:01 AM on Saturday, September 20th, 2008.

Who I am like.

You are most like ARYA

You are a swordsman or woman of great renown and are second to no one! At the same time, you are an unsurpassed wielder of magic, vastly intelligent and wise. Any queen or king would be lucky to have you as an asset but you are also independent in nature and follow no leader blindly.

Quotes

Clark: *singsong* "Lois is in trouble, Lois is in trouble!"

Lois (to Clark): "That is so not fair! You know I can't fly!"

Clark: "Superman is what I can do, Clark Kent is who I am."

Zara: "So Kal-El has told you?"
Lois: "Oh yes, yes everything! Not telepathically, of course; the old-fashioned way."

Lex Luthor: "I like the fact that everyone in Metropolis has to look up to see me."...
...Superman: "If you ever want to find me just look up!"

Clark: *playing Scrabble* "There's no such word as 'chumpy'!"
Lois: "Sure there is. Someone's a chump, therefore he's chumpy!"
Clark: "Try again."
Lois: "Are you challenging me?"
Clark: "You bet your sweet little chumpy I am!" *Lois glares* "Okay!" *looks it up in the dictionary, then shows Lois* "I told you!"
Lois: "You call that a dictionary?!"
