Spring Retreat
| I have had a great week! I just got back Sunday from a retreat with my youth group. It was so much fun! We left Friday, and headed to Eagle Fern Camp. The bus ride was really fun! I got to sit with me friends Amanda, Paul, and Ryan. I had a fun time talking with them on the bus! When we got their, we all helped unload all of the stuff, and then got to go to our cabins, and get all of our beds and stuff ready. After we were done doing that we all headed for the main room where we eat. We got instructions on how the day would be going, and stuff like that. Then shortly after that we ate dinner, did singing, and then quiet time. Quiet time is when we all spread out, and spend about half an hour reading out Bibles and praying to God. We all choose a few verses that we liked, and then later share them during Bible Study. I never shared any of my verses, but I had some pretty good ones. We were studying the book of John. We only did the first 3 chapters. We also did worship. I like a lot of the songs that we did! Then after all of that, most of us got to have some free time before it was time to go to bed. On Saturday a lot of the youth split up into groups and went to different places. Some of them went snow-boarding, swimming, skiing, and then the rest of them stayed at camp. I stayed at camp. I had a blast because we got to do a 50 foot swing! I did it 2 times! It was sooooooooo much fun! I will put some pictures of it on here when I get them! That was one of my highlights of the weekend! On Sunday we all headed home, and boy was I tired! I wanted to take a nap, but I had baby sitting when I got back, but I survived. =) Well I don't have that much to say now, so I'm going to go eat now. =) |
