Assignment #13 Your Part of the State

Most states have counties, others (like Louisiana) have parishes, and some (like Alaska) have boroughs. Don't give out any personal information, and if some of these questions are too personally, skip them or post them for register-users/friends only. This assignment is to help you really get to know your part of the state.

• Name of the county you're in and surrounding counties
• How many counties total are there in your state?
• The state capital is in which county?
• Post a picture of your country courthouse
• Post a picture map showing your state's counties
• Use a road-map to figure out the distances between the cities in your
• state.
• How close is the next town/city from yours?
• If you live in the country/out of city-limits, how far is the closest city/town?
• What is the population of your city/town
