Wow, the book cover looks GREAT! I have a few antique lanterns that my parents left us. I decided to keep them. Some things I sold to dealers as we could not keep two homes of things. I doubt they go back to the days of the Underground Railroad.

Susan Marlow sent me the coding for Light Across the River's trailer and I have it posted on the WA Blog, our personal blog and on our Homeschool Lounge Nook. If you have a press release and how to purchase the book, I can post that and send it out on the local homeschool e loops for here and WA State.

Our kids had a cute Coleman toy lantern. We loved it. It even had a frogs croaking sound track on it when the light was on or something like that.

On a camping trip, my Dad took me out around a pond one night with a lantern and showed me how to catch bull frogs in the dark. I have NEVER forgotten that adventure with my Dad, the great outdoorsman that he was and a lantern. I think we did the frog hunting in Canada. I had the frog for a day or two in a coffee can but felt sorry for him so my parents let me turn him loose. I must have been 8 or 9 years old.

Hugs,
Marie

Now, see? Wasn't that easy and fun? 100 people that might not have ever seen Light now know about it and are even interested in it, right?

The Fall bloggy giveaway will be here sooner than you know! I think you should give away a SET of books this time! He-he!
