Clear Shining After Rain

Third Annual Ohioana Book Festival is Sunday, May 9!

Third Annual Ohioana Book Festival
Saturday, May 09, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM

State Library of Ohio
274 E. First Avenue,
Columbus, OH 43201

The Ohioana Book Festival is a fantastic way to kick off National Children's Book Week, May 11-17, 2009.  Pick up a signed book for Mom, too!  Mother's Day is May 10.

Over 70 Ohio authors will sign books at this FREE event which is open to the public - no advance tickets and no advance registration is required, and plenty of FREE parking is available!  Programs and activities range from traditional author readings and book signings to a kid’s area with costumed characters; from a panel on how to get published to a discussion of the writing life; from an on-site book store (Barnes & Noble) to live entertainment and food.  For a complete list of festival activities, check out the online schedule.

Please stop by and visit me and my friend Carmella Van Vleet (children's non-fiction author), and many other Ohio authors:
