Last week started off with a visit from Grandma Margie and Auntie Sharon. Stella, of course, wanted to go home with them. We're going to try to visit soon.

The rest of the week, we learned about the letter "A". Her favorite activity was feeding the paper apples with the letter "A" on them to Alex Alligator. We're using the book "Now I Know My ABC's and a Whole Lot More!" for our letter activities. She got pretty good at writing "A" and "a" by the end of the week. We ate apples and read Johnny Appleseed. We also read several other books about apples and ants.

We also found all of the "A" states and countries on our new maps. The girl is in LOVE with her maps. They're pretty big: 32" X 50". She likes to use a small artists paintbrush to point out the different places.
