Our backyard apricot tree continues its annual silliness. A few warm days, and it feels it must stretch out its blossoms to greet the Spring. Note the moisture on its buds and petals. That is from last night's rain...and this morning's brief snowfall.

Yes, though it's difficult to really tell, this next picture was taken during a ten-minute snow shower.

Notice the hovel house behind our apricot tree. Someone really lives there. This is the same neighborhood that hosts lighted tennis courts. We are a diverse group. |

Keep us updated on your Further Adventures With the Floodlight Family. Hope your friendly confrontation yields better results than the one we had a few years back in our old neighborhood with the New Neighbors From Purgatory. After we very nicely mentioned to the mom's overly tattoed but heretofore friendly live-in boyfriend that the kids' rap music was so loud we could hear it from inside our house with all the doors and windows shut and the AC on... well, the PARENTS (or I should say, mom & boyfriend) started blasting us with loud rap music whenever we stepped outside. For weeks. Fortunately for you, people with tennis courts are more likely to be mature adults than people with tattoos and loud rap music. Fortunately for us, we moved out to the country a couple mos later... and unfortunately for us, the cornfield next door is likely to become a higher-end housing development w/in the next couple years. Hopefully with no floodlights.
