Posted in Around the House
It says something when people you've only corresponded with by e-mail, instant messenger, and the blogosphere can come over to your house, sit down over a bowl of chili, and talk for hours on end. We even got to pray together. Ken and Nancy have a wonderful family. Their eldest daughter actually cleans, dyes, spins and knits her own yarn! We're grateful Paul and Gena were able to make it in from the road and they're always welcome to visit again when they're running to and fro across the country. In all, we had 12 adults and 22 kids in the house at one time and we loved it!
Sitting down with Paul and Gena, you realize that they have the right perspective for Christian ministry. I realized that they view the magazine and it's peripherals, like this blog site, as God's ministry, something that He alone is in control of and provides for. Folks, this is rare in the publishing business! When you think about it, pray for their continued ministry, that God would continue to provide for them and that He would protect them losing sight of what God is calling them to do.
