The new summer issue of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine should be in stores any day now. I am fortunate to have not one but two articles in the issue. The first one is on Trains, which is the theme of the issue. The second is a short piece of fiction called Escaping the Homeschooling Matrix.

I'll admit, I didn't set out for that little bit of fiction to go anywhere. Still, someone saw it here on my blog, and they told Gena Suarez, publisher of TOS, and now it's out there. If the article blesses you, or if you have any questions, please let me know. I'd love to hear from you!

Wow, that Matrix piece is phenomenal! God has certainly blessed you with a creative mind, quit wit and ability to write! Thanks for blessing us with your gifts.

Thanks, Michelle. We serve a great God, don't we?

It's funny, but I get the impression God could hand me the next bestseller that will be written, but that it's not in my best interest. Still, I'm ready for Him to give me whatever he wants me to write. He has a willing pen here.
