Ms. Magazine is gathering headlines for
this little stunt. Apparently, they've gathered a list of their readers who have had abortions and are willing to go on the record as having had one. They apparently number in the thousands. It's part of an attempt by the abortion industry to de-stigmatize their "services."
If the number of women proud to have had abortions numbers in the
thousands, what does that say of the
millions of women who have had one? Even if every one of the women who have had abortions were proud of it -- and most arent -- it still wouldn't change the fact that they killed an innocent life.
I was one of the first children born under Roe v. Wade, our generation's equivalent to Dred Scott. As I've said in a previous post,
40 Million people aged 32 and younger are missing today, or roughly 13.5% of the current population of the United States. Take two families of five and pick a child to rub out. Do that all across the nation and you still would not have the total number killed.
It's time for this to end. It grieves my heart to know that the tragedy of abortion continues today. If you do nothing else,
get out and vote next month!
I can't even read that article. It makes me so sick to my stomach and it totally grieves my heart! I have a friend who has had to live with the grief and regret of a previous abortion. She is currently a counselor at our local pregnancy crisis center. I think for Ms. to give a full, balance picture, they should put out a request for names and stories of people who have had one but wish they hadn't! I'm sure they would be flooded with letters from women who were never told the truth of what to expect emotionally...and so many would've changed their minds if they had only had an ultrasound (which should be mandatory!) so they can see the full scope of what their doing and see that precious little heartbeat that they are choosing to stop.
