Without meaning to bore you, the picture I used has some symbolism to it. I won't tell you all of what I see in it, but two significant ideas that come from it are the fencepost and the road. The fencepost symbolizes the boundaries fathers use to protect those things most valuable to us, such as our children. There is a fork in the road, symbolizing the decisions we have to make as fathers and husbands that can either benefit our families or hurt them. It's a dirt road because although we have a common direction, it's not the road everyone takes.
Well, that's enough symbolism for the week, eh? I hope you find this easier to look at than plaid, which was a Christmas thing. Now, to get the lights down off the house...
