Since Mr. Whitehead is talking about truth, let's take a little logic to his philosophy. If there are no whole truths, then what he's saying is only partially true. If it is only partially true, then it's partly false. Yet he claims all truths are half-truths. In fact, he must in order for the statement to say anything at all beyond the obvious. And it's by stating it absolutely that he invalidates his own statement. He cannot say all truths are partly false without punching a hole in his own assertion of truth.
How this became quote of the day is beyond my explanation. There must be absolute truth. It's impossible to live in ignorance of it. If there is absolute truth, there must be a source for that truth. Absolute truth is immutable and has been made that way by it's Creator. To pretend otherwise, you have to close your eyes to reality.
