Seeking to have the heart of God

Description

We're a homeschooling family with one 3rd grader and 3 little ones ages 4,3, and 2. We also have one on the way! This baby boy will make 4 boys, 1 girl! We pray that, no matter what else they learn, that our children grow in the fear and knowledge of the Lord!

So happy to report that Elizabeth (our only daughter, 2 1/2) definately does NOT have cystic fibrosis.  She's so scrawny that the doctor has been running all kinds of tests on her.  This is (supposedly) the final test.  Since they've all been normal, we're going to assume she's just meant to be tiny and try to put her on a high fat diet.  We go back to the doctor on 2/7 to talk about that and check her weight.

Praising Him today!

Hi

I was just visiting. I thought I might let you know that we used flax seed oil to fatten my son up when he was sick (I would mention all the pumpkin pie which also adds weight, but I don't know how healthy that is-he,he). I hope your daughter gets better. Father, I pray in Jesus name, that you would help this little girl gain some weight. Help put the right doctors in her path. Heal her body. Give her a testimony for your glory. In Jesus name. God bless you and your family today.
Hugs,
Michelle

Just stumbled on your blog from the homepage...

Praise God for your daughter's test results. My Son had health issues when he was tiny and doctors could not explain his symptoms. Every dr. we saw brought up Cystic Fibrosis. I had no idea what it was, once I researched it I couldn't believe how cold the drs had been about it. They talked about it as if it was nothing big and just something that could be treated. After waiting 3 weeks to take the sweat test and then another week to get the results, my son was FINE...Thank you, Jesus!

Sorry, didn't mean to overtake your blog...but I do understand that feeling of relief.

Many children especially girls are petite...I have a very petite little girl who is 3 years old and still wearing 18 mnths to 2T clothes. In Kindergarten my Mother recalls me wearing 3T clothing.

Celebrating the results with you,
Diane
