Apr. 14, 2007 - Quote o'the day
Six year old Jenna: "When boys grow up, do they get to touch their..."
[Uh oh, here it comes, I thought]
"...eyeballs? Because they have to get those things in?"
Her dad is the only person she knows who wears contacts, so I guess she thought it was a grown-up-boys-only club.

how observant of her....only her daddy gets to do that. phew.
My kids stare at me when I'm putting my contacts in and it never fails....they ask, "doesn't that hurt?"
nope. not after 9 years of it. Then I show them how I can poke myself in the eye and it doesn't phase me.
that's my parlor trick of the day.

My five year old asked when do I get my glasses? everyone older than her has glasses or contacts. she thought it was just a part of growing up. I said hopefully never honey. this is getting expensive to raise these kids!

So you have a Jenna too :) My Jenna turned 6 in February. She is our oldest though, instead of yours which is your youngest!
Gotta run,
