The evaluation came when we were away on vacation, but we returned on Sunday so I did make it to the school district Monday Morning June 30th. Today I received the approval letter from the district already. Jane took her driver's license test today and she ...... PASSED! Yes, that is exciting in one way but makes me nervous in another way. Hard to believe she is a driver now. She had her first solo drive this evening to go out for slushies for her sister and herself. She even brought me one This past weekend we went on vacation to Harrington, Delaware. We had good weather, and good time. Julia loved the pool and learned to swim really well since we were at the pool the majority of the time. It was nice, a relaxing weekend. We did venture over to the car show for the burnouts and flaming contest, and although Julia has seen it before, she must not remember it, when she saw it she was pretty excited, then when the "torch" came out she was really screaming with excitement. I wish I had known she would have had that kind of reaction I would have had the camera ready!

Well, we are finally done with this year's school. We had the evaluation on the 17th and all went well. Waiting for it to come in the mail and then I can file the papers and breath a big sigh of relief. I don't know why I stress out every year wondering if I have done enough. I have never had an evaluation not go well, or not had enough, but I guess by the end of the year when I just want to be done, I start to second guess what I have used or had them do. Jane went to a week of Ultimate Experience camp as a Junior counselor last week. She had a great time. While she was gone, I took Julia to use her Choo Choo Barn pass. She enjoyed it, then we had to continue to be "tourists" and stop for an ice cream cone at the Creamery in Strasburg - I was told they have the best ice cream in Lancaster County :0) It was pretty tasty
Even more exciting - she invited Jesus to live in her heart

And she made it back safe and sound.
She also attended VBS last week. She had an exciting week. The theme was Power Lab and they put on a really good program. Someone said there were about 183 registered children!
