A Thing from a Person. I wrote the last paragraph, and I tag narnialover95 to write more. Just write a little bit on the end of the story and pass it on!
| One day there was a great hill with a castle on top, and some children were having a picnic at the bottom of the hill, when a great seagull, for the hill and the castle and the children were by the sea, swooped down and snatched someone's sandwich and flew off up into the air. This particular seagull was a hungry bird named Andre. He was always looking for food, for that was the only thing he enjoyed, and he knew when he saw the red-and-white checkers on the ground, there was always food on it. Andre flew around the castle when he was suddenly swept backwards by a sudden gust of wind. He flailed wildly about trying to gain a safe landing, but it was of no use. With a sickening thud, Andre hit the side of the castle wall. He struggled up to his feet and looked around for the sandwich, but was surprised to see a little girl with curly, light brown hair, and a sweet smile. She looked at the bird for a moment, and then turned and ran up the hill. She disappeared when she got near the Castle. He did notice that the girl was holding something as she ran. Thinking it was the sandwich, he flew after her. When he got to the Castle, he looked around for the little girl, but to his disappointment she was no where to be found. Then he heard a noise from behind the castle. He decided to go see what the noise was when a fearsome cat with bristling whiskers and a great rowr came bounding from out of nowhere, seemingly. Andre, being the brave and strong bird he was (and also very angry from having an empty stomach), squawked and beat at the cat with his wings. The cat was shocked to be affronted with such a sudden attack, and backed up a few steps. Andre boxed him fine as a kangaroo. Being only a bird, however, he soon grew tired and flew up onto one of the many ramparts of the Castle. There he shook his tail at the growling cat and smoothed his disheveled feathers. As he was preening himself, something just inside the Castle's gate caught his eye, and turning his head to get a better look, he saw a young girl wandering about the Castle grounds. Spreading his great wings, Andre flew down to her and landed behind her, not wishing to frighten her. The little girl was crying, and dirt streaked her face where she had been rubbing it. In a gentle voice, Andre asked her, "Little child, why dost thou sob as if thine heart woudst break?" The little girl gasped and turned around, looking the great bird over as if sizing him up if a fight was facing her. Seeing the bird meant her no harm, the girl let forth another burst of fresh tears and sank to the ground, overwhelmed with the weight of her pain. "Good fowl," she said, "mine village has been destroyed by the evil king of a far realm, mine family slaughtered before mine eyes, and I left without home, food nor friendship. I wish to die." The bird wrapped his wing around the girl and vowed in his seething mind to get revenge upon the man who had brought such affliction upon one so young. Then, suddenly, the ground shook and both the child and Andre looked up and were shocked to find that Superman had landed on a great big hill not far from where they were standing. This startled Andre and he suddenly started running to a near-by cave. The child iddn't know what to do so it just stared at him with wide eyes.
Superman stood with his hands on his hips, looking very smug.
"I have just saved the world from a cata--cata----A bad thing!"
A old man suddenly appeared from somewhere (no one saw)and looked at Superman. "Sonny! You ain't saved no one frum nothin'! You couldn't save a mouse frum a cat!If yer brains was gasoline they wouldn't fill a ant's motersicyle enought ta go have-way 'round a bb! If you put yer brains on a pin head it would roll around like a bb on a six-lane highway! If you---"
"Stop!" Superman screamed, jumping up and down like an idiot (this is gonna be really random). His face took on the look of a puppy when it sees a bone it wants to chew up. Suddenly, a ice cube the size of a baseball shot out of the sky and hit him in the head. There was a distinct crack, and the Man of Steel fell over dead........ |
