Memorial Day
Time for a new entry!
(yeah so the flag wouldn't exactly corporate so I don't have a good picture of the flag. Hey I tried.)
Happy Memorial Day! Well...okay so I'm one day late. We had a busy Memorial Day! First we woke up and went to McDonalds for breakfast. I don't like McDonalds,but I sorta like their breakfast. There was a local dog show going on in our indoor complex so we heading to that. Let me explain.
Ever since we have gotton our adorable border collie(Gracie Noel) we have been in love with dogs(or at least I have). Especially her. One thing we have learned about border collies is that they love to work and are very fast. So being the loving owners that we are we are wanting to do agility with her, and heading out to see what whole thing was about. Hopefully once she gets older she will be able to complete. And that my friends is my explanation for the agility dog show.

After the dog show we ran to the house because we only had fifteen minutes to get ready to go to the Memorial Day service with my grandparents.
The service was good,but I had a hard time concentrating because I still have a cold and I had to cough and sneeze like a million time. That was so embarassing. But it was good anyway.
We went to eat at my great-grandma's nursing home. They have a little resturaunt in there that is pretty good.
Overall it was a fun day!
Also we had burgers that night that my dad made. I love his burgers!

Oh and this weekend my brother had a basketball tournament. He lost every game,but they were up against 6th graders. Or so my brother said.
It was cool though because after one of the games we went to eat with friends of ours(their son plays on Connors b-ball team). They have a girl near my age, just a little older. So it was fun...
I'm trying to finish my school up. AHH! I have like 5 more math lessons and 1 Language Arts. I'm behind on science. I'm trying to get an entire module(chapter) in each day(it's supposed to take 2 weeks for each module). But yeah. So I'm busy.
We are getting the invitations out soon for my right of passage. CRAZINESS! I'm still trying to get all my verses done! 14 days...only 14.
Anyway, I'll leave it at that!

Awww...your dog is so cute!!! I love dogs!!! I really like your "summer time" pictures!! :-) Neat flip-flops!! Hehe! I hope you can finish your school soon! I am behind in math... :-/ Actually, I am about to get off the computer and go do it. :-) I shouldn't have gotten on the computer in the first place. :-)

I use Photobucket, ZoomBrowser and whatever else I find. :) Oh color curves are fun. :) I used picnik a few times. I'm using it right now...:)

That sounds like fun! I am going to be at a camp 7 weeks this summer, my sisters are going to do the fair with their horses and I am going to help moms with little kids.
We get really busy in the summer.....the month of June is packed for us we have something almost everyday!

I really like the angles, and the lighting. Especially 1 and 3, though. =)
What science are you doing this year? I finished Apologia's Physical Science a few weeks ago, and for math I finished Saxon's Pre-Algebra. Mom wants me to take the tests throughout the summer so I don't forget what I learned... Not sure what I think of that, yet, but my opinion doesn't really matter. :)
Right of passage? I did a thing in 6th grade called "Rite of Passage", which basically just took us from the kids' programs to the youth group... it was pretty fun. We did skits pretaining to the lesson each week; some of them were really funny!
I bet you posted about your Right of Passage, but I'm too lazy to go check; could you tell me about it?
You know what I just discovered? We're in the same grade. =) When's your birthday?

Okay. I'm going to intern in my science teacher's Physical Science class next year since I passed with an A average. :) You'll do fine, I bet.
Okay -- I was just curious. :) We didn't do just skits, though. We had a memory verse each week, and daily Bible readings. At the end of the "Rite of Passage" we had a service where we did most of it. One of the boys preached, the Breakaway choir did a blacklight show, some girls sang solos, I played the piano, etc. It was pretty fun!
Exactly a week? So... the 8th? My birthday was in March, on the 23rd. I'm about two months older than you.
So you like the Longhorns? I like 'em too. I also enjoy living in Texas. :)
