trivia
Hello! Its me!
I'm kind-of bloggin' about nothin' but not much goes on.
ummm.... oh! how many of you guys saw the new POTC?
how much TRIVIA do you know?
The Curse of the Black Pearl
* on August 10, 2002, a fire started on the soundstage where the movie was shot
no one was hurt
*when Will wakes up after being knocked out, he looks out into the port and you can see the same girl who played young Elizabeth sweeping at a doorway
*Toutuga is Spanish for "turtle"
*when returning from a night shoot on one of the islands, Keira Knightley's boat stuck a reef and went down. no one was hurt
*many of the crew got sea sick while filming
*the substance sprayed on Will after the sword fight with jack is actually powdered
chocolate
*the words "pirate" and "piracy" are said 56 times
*according to the screenwriters' commentary, Will Turner is the best swordsman in the film, Barbossa and Commodore Norrington are evenly matched and Jack Sparrow is actually the worst.
*The monkey, Jack, is played by two Capuchin monkeys. One is a 10-yr-old female Tara, and the other is an 8-yr-old male named Levi.
*Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Tobey Maguire, Christopher Masterson and Christian Bale were all considered for the role of Will Turner.
*The tattoo that Orlando Bloon got on his right wrist during the Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The RIng (2001) is covered throughout most of the film. It is, however, visible during the swort-fight scene in the blacksmith shop when Will raises his sword to parry after Jack's line. The tattoo is the Elvish number 9, symbolic of the Fellowship.
*Keira Knightley's hair was extended because it was still short from her role in Bend it Like Beckham. Coincidentally, in "Dead Man's Chest" Knightley also wore extensions, after completing the filming of "Domino"
Sea ya later, savvy?

RESULTS:
The Bystander (10-16 points): Only mildly curious about the world at large, you’re content with the knowledge you already have. Remember, though, that it’s perfectly acceptable to be curious about people, places and events you’ve never experienced — and there’s no such thing as a stupid question. So go ahead and step out of your comfort zone. There’s a whole world out there waiting to be discovered!
The Fact Finder (17-23 points): “Just the facts, ma’am” is your personal motto. Curious about life in general, you prefer to collect and analyze data before making any major decisions. Your matter-of-fact approach to learning is great for the science lab, but don’t be afraid to be passionate about the lessons that really count. After all, there’s more to life than “just the facts”!
The Explorer (24-30 points): You’ve got a reporter’s nose for the latest-breaking news. But while an inquisitive mind can open up exciting doors, be careful that your highly curious nature doesn’t get you into trouble. Be wise when scouting out new people, places and possibilities, and always take into consideration the feelings of others. If you do, your healthy curiosity will take you far!
