Aug. 28, 2006 - There was a Rainbow Today
There was a rainbow today.
Actually, there were two.
A symbol to me of God's faithfulness.
A symbol of His never ending love for me.
It is so easy to doubt in the rain.
It is so hard to know He has a plan.
It is so hard to trust Him to do what is best.
But there was a rainbow today.
Rainbows have always been special to me.
They tell me He has a future for me.
They seem to be there just when I am ready to give up.
God sent today's rainbow to remind me.
I was ready to give up.
Ready to forget all that He has promised.
Sure that He had forsaken me, my dreams.
But there was a rainbow today.
Actually, there were two.

A great reminder of the promise of God! I'm always on the lookout for rainbows. I could see this on a plaque, you might want to copyright it.
