My dh can so relate! Me, two girls, my mom, female dog, female cat, and as of today the 10 female chicks. Oh, and the girls each own a female horse.
Just slightly off balance compared to one dh, one male cat, and one male rooster (named Billy ;o)

I want to get chickens but dh isn't quite ready to take that step yet. I feel the boys need something to do plus I would love it. We even have a barn and pen to keep them in.
I'll have to use the "But I need female company in this house of men" arguement. LOL

I love the chicks. Congratulations. They are so cute! I understand what your dh says about being outnumbered but I was outnumbered as you know in our house a long time ago. Even when we had a hamster it was a boy.
