Jul. 9, 2006 - Mission Arlington
Hey you know the youth of Lake Fork Baptist Church were going on a mission trip Saterday to Mission Arlington. We went there and cleaned apartments and then handed out flyers oh and set up tables. then we went to the mall where i got lost because i told justin i would meet him on the 1st floor with the rest of the group. well only justin heard that and its justin so i could not find the group for like 40 minutes. jujstin was like where did u go? uh the 1st floor maybe if you had be listening to me you might have know that i was headed there to the group after checking out claires. he is so weird. then we were driving to a soocer game in dallas and i had this not pad to the window that said "honk if u love the suns." kolt and steven were about to kill me. then this car came by with these two girls and they read the sign and were shaking their heads. kolt and steven were cheering them on cuz they hate the suns. then after ten mintutes the same girls pull up by the van and put a sign up to their window that said "nowitzki rules nash go mavs." kolt and steven where cheering while i was hitting my head on the window. lol. what can i say its dallas i mean there are tons of people there there has to be at least... well at least one person who loves the suns that was there. oh wait no that was me driving down the highway. lol thats what kolt said anyway. hes wrong. and weird. now that i think about it all my friends have mental problems. the are mavericks fans. yeah.

Jul. 5, 2006 - Poems
Hey. Bailey and I just now discovered each others peom books and you will not believe that we almost have the same poems. One of ours has the same name and another there is just one word different. Like the poem below is called there is nothing wrong with me by Bailey. Then there is mine above There is Something Wrong with Me. We thought it was so cool. Anyway just take time to read them. Bailey is much better than I am though.

Jul. 4, 2006 - Loading your horse in a trailer
Hey so now that you all know I am a horse and Suns freak(Holly don't even think about leaving a comment!). I have to ask if you guys ever had problems loading your horse in a trailer? Now trust me with this I was taught by a professional and know how things work so if you agree with me or not I know what I am talking about when I say never use a whip. I did but then when the horses problem got worse I learned to do just the opposite of what the books say. If you try and load a horse into a trailer and whip him to make him go forward then the horse thinks that he is being whiped because he is near the trailer. Then the horse knows that the trailer means pain so never use a whip. If you want your horse to load then thats going to take time. About a week or so. First just waik your horse around the trailer. Just get him used to the sight of it for about two days or until he no longer sees it as a treat or shys near it. Then leave your horse alone and untied(however make sure you are in an inclosed space) and then go into the trailer yourself be sure to take some carrots with you. Sit on the ramp with the carrots where he can smell them and soon enough he will come. This is not the end. You must do this many times a day for many days before he can be sure enough of you to put all of his faith in you. Trust me. Like I say the last time I rode Nylus she was acting up and I was told to use the whip. Then after an hour ride I discovered she was lame in one foot. It was the worst mistake of my life. If it wasn't 4 me making her walk 4 an hour and hurting her with the whip she might still be alive. I blame myself 100% for her death. So never use a whip. Your horse might just be trying to tell you something instead of disobeying.

Jul. 4, 2006 - Adam Morrison
As you can all tell I love the Suns. However there is a small setback. My favorite player from my favorite collage team went to the NBA this year. Adam Morrison who played for the Gonsaga Bulldogs went to the Charollete Bobcats. There might be a small problem cuz if I like it or not i have to chose between Nash or Adam. Ok let me think. Nash wins. No problem. But I would however like to give a big cheer for Adam. It was so neat and unexpected that he went to the NBA and even got second pick of the draft. Ok well they knew he was going to the NBA his second year in collage so it might not be so big but hey. I had to wait two years. Poor Nash. Does anyone know if he plans to retire after 2010 when his contract expires? I hope not but he will be what... Uh he will be 36. How old is Shaq anyway?

Jul. 4, 2006 - Stay off the road.
Hey guys, I am still here in Texas. I won't be going back to New Mexico 4 awhile hopefully. The youth is going on a mission trip July 8th then we are going to the mall and then a soocer game. I can't wait. My friends Bailey and her brother Justin just turned 15 and 16. Justin is getting his drivers license and that is so scary cuz trust me he can't even drive a golf cart without running over a turtle in the first 5 minutes. So a little warning to all you people that live in the Yantis/Emory Texas area STAY OFF THE ROAD! My friend Denver is turning 14 July 8th. Oh and Jennifer Burns turned 17 this Thursday. I want to cry cuz shes my best friend and will be leaving youth soon. Well leave me a comment.

I love summer. We are leaving to go back to New Mexico June 9th I think. I don't want to go back but we might only be there for a week so I won't have to endure it all to long. I can't wait to start working with horses again but Smokey won't be there when I go home so I might have to wait for another year or so till I see him again. Sadly. I do get to see Lucky. The one horse I naver want to see again. He is crazy. He has tried to bite me more times than I can count. He even tried to kill a few people. Oh well I take what I can get!

Hey check out Danpatch.com. Cool story about a horse that was born in 1896 and died in 1916. He is the best pacer in the world and no one has ever beaten his record of 1.55. He never lost a race in his career and his owner died exactly 24 hours after the King of Pacers passed away. This is such a great story!

So the Mavs beat the Heat for the second time. No clue who I am rooting for cuz right now I am mad at the Mavs but yet all my friends love them. I have always been a fan of O'Neal and Wade though. I would have to say at this point the Mavs cuz Steve Nash would be rooting for them but thats the only reason. No really.

I have no clue if any of U have ever heard Bob Smiliy but really you have to hear some of his jokes. He opens his mouth you laugh thats how he is. It might be kinda hard to tell some of his jokes on the internet but hey what do I have to lose? Ok the first thing you have to know about Bob is that he has this really high pitched voice and sounds just like a girl just so we get that clear. Anyway one day he was preaching to us and he said that he wanted the role of Darth Vader in Star Wars. He said that he had always wanted to play a villan in the movies. Then he kinda gave us this demonstration of him as Darth Vader. He was like Luke I am your father. Then the guy who played Luke was like NO! Your my mother! It was so funny. Then another time he was talking about how some kids have a problem with cussing and he said the way to cure that was every time that you wanted to cus to just say something from the Bible so like if you stub your toe instead of saying something bad say "Oh John the baptist!" He had us eating out of his hands. He evem said that one day he was in a hot tub when this really big dirty guy came up in the hot tub with him at this hotel. So Bob didn't want to stay in there with this really gross guy and he didn't want to hurt the guys feelings so he said "Wow! I have to got to work! I had no clue it was that late." Then he got out of there and was leaving when the other guy said "Oh before you leave I have to ask you. Do you know Jesus?" Bob was like "You know its funny you say that because I talk preach about him." Then Bob was thinking Wow I have to talk to this guy now. So he turned to us and said. "Now I did what I hope that all of You would of done. I pulled a chair up to the hot tub to talk to this guy." He was so funny. Really. He preached for us at the Netxtreme Youth Camp in Lonestar Texas. Well I have to go but hope you research him because he is great!

Jun. 12, 2006 - My memory of Nylus
Hey. So how many people love horses? Now that I have talked about the Suns I need to talk about horses! to make a long story short I was alone on this ranch. There were no other kids for like an hour so then these people moved in across the street with horses. Well this happened in the summer of 2005. Ok now they had a mother and son. Nylus and Smokey, I learned to ride on Nylus and was soon riding Smokey. I got a job as a groom there. I loved it. My world was finaly changing. I had fun riding all day instead of watching TV or something. Soon I was riding Smokey who was tougher to ride than his 22 year old mother. Then on I found out that Nylus had Laminitis. I knew there was no cure. I just never thought that she would die. She died on the 31st of December 2005. 5 days before her sons birthday and 6 before mine. It was the worst thing that ever happened. Then all I had was Smokey. But after his mom died he never was the same. He went crazy. He reared for no reason. He became a monster. He even tried to kill me. All he managed was to break my foot. He would buck when I would try to ride him. I did everything I could. He had to be sent away. So with no horses left I had nothing more to do. Because of this we left to go on a trip to Texas. Here I met tons of friends and we moved here to a little town called Yantis. My friends are Holly Collings, Trista Byron, Laci Phillips, Morgan Baxter, Justin Hunt, Bailey Hunt, Denver Hines, Samuel Mashall, Jennifer Burns, Pamela Bearden, Rusty Bearden, Seven (don't ask), Jeff, and Kolby, who I met at Netextreme youth camp. It was so fun. Now I always somehow look back and think how can I be having fun when Nylus is dead. The truth is. If it wasn't for her I never would of even come to Yantis and met all my friends. I have not seen Smokey since he left. I miss him but hey you have to move on.

Jun. 12, 2006 - The Suns will be back!
Hey. My name is Whitney and I love horses and the Phoenix Suns. Such a shame they lost to the Mavericks! 
Well most of my friends had their laugh because of it.
They are all huge Mav fans. The day I went to church after they had lost I walked in waiting for the bragging to start and no one said a word. Then I found out that our youth teacher had told them to keep their mouths shut because he knew I would be mad.
Laugh out loud. After I guessed it they did nothing but brag. Well for all of the Mav fans out there let me say that the Suns will be back.They were not expected to make it to the finals but they did. I want to thank them for a wondeful season. And next year Amire Stoudemire will be back. I dought that anything will be able to stop them. Not even the Mavs! Well I want to give it up for Steve Nash and Raja Bell who gave us a great season! Next year nothing will be able to stop Nash. I am so happy that he got his second MVP award.
With the way he has been playing he deserved it.
