The Simple Woman's Daybook November 24

FOR TODAY November 24, 2008...

Outside my window... The sound of wood being chopped, the dogs playing.

I am thinking...I need to schedule some God stops this busy week.

I am thankful for...my grandson will be traveling with us to my parents for Thanksgiving, they do not know.  We will have 5 generations present.

From the learning rooms...Finaly finished up B.C. Rome, finishing up Thanksgiving folders, and starting Rome A.D.

From the kitchen...Need to lock fridge at night when grandson is here, he is every bit as independant as his father was at that age (3).  He wants to be a big boy, got up early and fixed himself a BIG glass of milk, so dry cereal this morning...

I am wearing...Yellow short sleeved Tshirt and denim skirt, no shoes, it's warm.

I am creating...Cookie Bouquets for a craft fair, and then a couple of Christmas pot holders.

I am going...To enjoy this "wait till you have chidren" thing with my son and his son.

I am reading...Still trying to read Mansfield Park with Miss Amanda, going to read A Christmas Carol with kids for December.

I am hoping...to still be able to finish a few school things this week with making cookie bouquets, grandson here, and traveling to Kentucky.

I am hearing...Birds singing, I have my window open.

Around the house...Getting ready for some school, and I think unfortunately someone has a Twighlight Zone marathon, uukkk.

One of my favorite things...No mor Twightlight Zone, just kidding, dried fruit.

A few plans for the rest of the week:Make 2 cookie bouquets, pack, finish organizing notebooks and folders, make cookies for 8 hour trip, help kids make bread to take to their Nana's.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

My son, who should be state side by Thanksgiving and home by Christmas.

Great daybook! I laughed out loud about the big glass of milk, and thus dry cereal. So cute. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
