"bringing you the sort of insights smart people enjoy"

• Google it! - Mar. 13, 2006

Google.com has become part of American vocabulary. If you don't know something the proper response is "google it!" Google now has become a very helpful tool for educators. I spent the past couple minutes exploring Google's new section on the planet Mars.

http://www.google.com/mars/

It's fascinating. If you've had any experience with Google Maps, you'll understand the Google map of Mars. You can scroll along and explore the different areas. There's even articles attached with different locations such as the canyons, dunes and mountains on Mars.

Mars has long captured the imagination of thinkers, writers, scientists and the like, so maybe it's time for it to capture yours.

Thanks for visiting my blog! What other arts and crafts do you do? I always have so many projects going on and not enough time to do them!

Mar. 14, 2006 - Thanks for your prayers

Thanks Tabitha for your prayers and kind words. I know everyone was praying yesterday. The dr told us that they would have to put her in a body cast to make the brace but they did not have to. They spent about 1 hour measuring her. We will go in 2 weeks to get the brace and then back to the dr in about 10 days after that for more xrays and fittings.
I enjoyed your blog. Have you every played the goggle game? I heard about it on the today show.
Happy Homeschooling

Cross stitching is definitely fun! If you do it for too long in one sitting it does wear on your eyes though, doesn't it! I too like scrapbooking but my problem is that there are too many pictutres and not enough time!

Warmly,
Leah

About Me []

Blogging is my only addiction. Well, blogging and new books. I was homeschooled from K-12. I have an overactive imagination, read a page a minute and type 75 wmp. I've worked with kids since I was 13 and love writing about education issues. I'm an unpaid intern with MINDspriting. I steal paperclips to make up for the lack of a check.
